Pros:

It was close to the river. They have a cool music room. The air conditioner worked. Nice concept if it were a little nice place to stay.

Cons:

It wasn't as nice as I expected, especially for the price. Didn't have a night stand beside the bed...phone, glasses...hello? Tiny fridge, if you could call it that. Definitely not worth the price.
People on the street at night, loud, cars and bikes doing crazy stuff, etc.
Bar was to open at 3:00. At 3:08 we were told the bar wasn't open yet. So we left.

The staff is so welcoming and kind throughout the stay. They provided restaurant and night life recommendations. The room was great and had everything you would need for a stay.

Good room. Terrible check in experience.

room was very clean and had everything i needed

Cons:

they were not very hospitable. front desk staff when i arrived was very snarky. i was promised by the hotel that i could be accommodated with a 2 pm check-in. when i arrived they shrugged their shoulders, said "things change and we can't guarantee that" even though I was messaged a month before my booking saying it could be accommodated. I was then told to sit and wait and that "I would not be judged" for sitting and waiting until 3 pm for a room. there were definitely rooms ready but there seemed to be so much rigidity in a 3 pm check in which led to a very long line for check in. the check in process was not very efficient at all. I was disappointed with this.

Brief stay while traveling, nice place with an opportunity to see some of Richmond’s historic places.
Pros:

Great downtown location. Historic. Cool decor.

Cons:

It was fine, but our view was of the mechanicals (a/c and ventilation system on the lower roof.

My stay at Roxy Richmond was excellent
Pros:

The location was excellent. Very close to the convention center where I was attending an event. The atmosphere when you walk through the door was very pleasant and clean. I would recommend it to everyone who is visiting Richmond.

Cons:

I liked everything.
It was clean in the room and throughout the whole establishment .

Great place but don't assume what you book/reserve is what you will get.

I had booked a queen room with a twin loft bed only to be told "you reserved a queen with twin loft but a group JUST came in and it is no longer available" I paid the same price for a single queen room

Pros:

Jerome, valet, was amazing! Stayed M-F and never got room service. Most hotels are every other day. No signage stating it was upon request only. Food is average, at best. But to be fair I only at their food once. It served its purpose but will not stay again.
