Fantastic. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.
Pros:

Loved the location right by the river. It was very clean, the food was excellent, the public facilities were great (bar outdoors until late at night),and everyone was helpful. It was lovely to see the monkeys, birds and other wildlife in the grounds.

Cons:

Our room (4 bed room) was small and very simple - but I believe that there are other rooms that are much better.

Una de las pocas opciones para alojarse sobre el Cuiabá !
Pros:

Muy lindo hotel, con instalaciones nuevas y ubicación inmejorable.
El restaurante es excelente y las instalaciones circundantes muy buenas.
Tiene muelle y lanchas propias para tours fotográficos por el río.
Muchos animales en el parque del hotel, sobre todo aves, también algún capuchino y agutí.
Gran experiencia !

Cons:

Mala comunicación desde la reserva, cero iniciativa de oferta, todo hay que preguntarlo.
En relación al precio, el servicio de tours y la habitación dejan bastante que desear.
Una lástima, tiene un enorme potencial y no está aprovechado.
Lo salvan los Jaguares !!

Wonderful place, pricey but dig deep - it's worth it
Pros:

Staying in Porto Jofre is like a dream - magical place. Santa Rosa is lovely, great location, nice staff, good food, animals on site (birds, capybaras, agoutis) but feels safe, wonderful pool (if there isn't a capybara in it).

Cons:

We were given a room that was very basic; absolutely full of mosquitoes when we first entered, with no fan or mosquito nets. We had to request mosquito spray for the room. In fact, mozzies are a real problem for a short period around dusk. Overall, it was very pricey (£400 per night for 2) for limited comfort

Goed maar niet waaw , Aymara Lodge was stukken beter waar je wel de liefde voelde

Cons:

De receptioniste deed totaal geen moeite om ons gebrekkig Portugees te verstaan aangezien men geen Engels sprak , zelfs de manager niet . Dus moesten we ons helpen met het Portugees we kennen , we misten liefde ook in het eten vertaalde dit zich , eentonig steeds hetzelfde , prijs kwaliteit kan beter maar ja in porto Joffre kan men dit zich permitteren zeker ..

Beautiful location on the river banks.
Pros:

Wat a beautiful location, good food and friendly staff.

Cons:

The price is pretty stiff. Unlike pousadas near Poconé here you pay additionally for tours.

An amazing location with great access to the Pantanal and pleasant service
Pros:

Breakfast was good - might have opened 30 minutes earlier to enable a pre-sunrise start. Good variety of food at breakfast. Lunch and dinner were rather similar and we were mindful that its a very long drive from the nearest shop but overall there were interesting things to eat. Service was attentive and friendly. The boat services were professional and respectful to the animals/birds with good equipment. The garden was a haven for birds and animals especially in the early morning. The wildlife spotting from the hotel and boat tours was exceptional.

Cons:

The rooms we had were at the 'forest' side of the hotel with a messy outlook and were tight for 3 people despite being for 4 - and while you are not staying here for the rooms, it would have been good to have a slightly more comfortable space for midday or pre-dinner rests. The boatman didnt speak a word of English which was not ideal though he was very good at finding birds and animals for us.

Overpriced and underwhelming experience
Pros:

Location if you want it go for tours.

Cons:

Doesn’t reflect the price payed for, facilities are basic and surrounding grounds look neglected. Full board stay and you have to pay for water and soft drinks… very disappointing.

A great base for epic wildlife.
Pros:

This property in the heart of the Pantanal has breathtaking wildlife right from the jetty. The hotel is clean and comfortable by global standards - the rooms are functional rather than luxurious - but the location and staff more than make up for that. We saw seven jaguar on our trip…

The Jaguars cruise was excellent, Mario was fantastic... He knows where to go... Jaguars were somehow waiting for him.... Expensive but worth it... Just do it.
