Boutique hotel in the middle of old Ljubljana is a charm
the bed was incredible . i never slept so well.
the service at the restaurant was not great. we found the waiter pushy to give him a tip, as for the breakfast except for the last day, the wait to be serviced was very long.
La chambre est de bonne dimension, joliment décorée et très propre. Le ménage est effectué efficacement chaque jour et le lit est particulièrement confortable. La situation de l'hôtel est idéale. Ville incroyable et très belle.
L’architecture de l’immeuble ne permet manifestement pas de faire cohabiter convenablement l’hôtel et le restaurant.
Imaginez un rez-de-chaussée d’à peine six mètres de large sur une trentaine de mètres de long, regroupant le lobby de l’hôtel, l’ascenseur desservant les étages et le restaurant. Au centre se trouvent deux cuisines minuscules : l’une, d’environ 6 m², sale et surchargée, est réservée aux préparations chaudes et à la plonge ; l’autre, d’environ 4 m², est destinée aux préparations froides.
Entre les deux passe une véritable « autoroute », ouverte de chaque côté, où circulent en permanence les clients de l’hôtel et du restaurant, les serveurs ainsi que toutes sortes de livreurs. Tout le monde se bouscule dans un brouhaha indescriptible. À cette organisation chaotique s’ajoute une saleté générale difficilement acceptable, comme en témoignent les photos.
Le petit-déjeuner est proposé à la carte. Cependant, le cuisinier étant seul et devant également assurer la plonge, il faut attendre jusqu’à 45 minutes pour obtenir un simple bol de fruits et un œuf.
La salle de restaurant sert par ailleurs de zone de stockage pour divers équipements et fournitures : seaux à champagne, serviettes non pliées, salières et poivrières constamment vides et sales, entassées dans un bac qui l’est encore davantage.Saleté des murs et sols.
Cette organisation génère un stress permanent, aussi bien pour les clients que pour le personnel. Une telle situation est inadmissible pour un établissement hôtelier.

La salle de bains, en revanche, privilégie le design au détriment de l’aspect pratique. Elle est beaucoup trop petite et devient difficilement utilisable. La douche est équipée d’un système de fixation vétuste, instable et défectueux. Il est également impossible de fermer la bonde du lavabo pour le remplir, tandis que le radiateur ne fonctionne pas.
Enfin, les toilettes sont installées beaucoup trop près du mur, ce qui ne permet pas de s’y asseoir convenablement.

Great location. Attractive hotel. Nice breakfasts.
Our room was small and the bathroom shower didn’t really work well ie it was very difficult to have a shower without getting the bathroom wet.

Parkplatz steht nicht zur Verfügung. Haben außerhalb geparkt. Mit Koffer zum Hotel vom Parkplatz und wieder zurück am nächsten Tag, beide Male im Regen. Das war alles andere als angenehm.
Lovely location, nice rooms and very clean property
Many of the rooms are dark. The air deodorizer is heavy and the hotel was over-scented for me.

The View and the private patio
The bathroom was nice to look at but not practical. When you shower, water gets splash out of the shower area. The shower panel when fully deployed doesn't keep the rest of the bathroom dry. The mirror that's supposed to be above the bathroom sink is behind the sink. When bending down to wash your face at the bathroom sink, be careful not to hit your forehead on the sharp edges of the tap. The lift goes all the way up to the 4th floor. My room was on the 5th.504. While booking on Booking.com, the room description didn't mention about the room having 2 levels/ floors. That wasn't the room configuration that i wanted. Transportation won't bring you to the hotel doorstep. It's a distance of around 250 metres to the drop off/pick up point. It's a punishing distance for your luggage wheels. Especially on cobbled stone roads. The 2nd floor of the room is not made for tall people. The stay in 504 was an expensive lesson learnt.
