The view from our hotel was amazing!!! The breakfast was really good except the cook had no idea how to cook eggs. the scrambled eggs were overcooked like rubber, I asked for eggs over easy and they came back hard as a rock. Lula took care of breakfast most days we were there who is one of the hardest working, kind and helpful people I have meet. The other staff were not very friendly but Lula was a bright light on our stay there, she should be promoted.
The inability of the cook to cook an egg without incinerating it. Front desk staff could definitely work on their social skills and be much more friendly.
I had not realized it but there was a homeless camp during the evenings just near the front entrance. It was never a problem, but did make us a little uneasy at night.
What I liked most was the view and the room’s modern feel. We didn’t try the breakfast.
There were several aspects of our stay that we did not enjoy. The check-in and check-out experience was very basic, with the staff doing only the bare minimum. The room was also far too small and felt cramped. We were disappointed with the location, as homeless people were sleeping directly outside the hotel entrance. The carpets in the corridors were in a terrible condition and clearly needed to be replaced. Cleanliness was also below an acceptable standard, particularly in the bathroom.
