Comfortable experience
Pros:

Our stay at the in Alajuela was very pleasant. The accommodation was comfortable and met our expectations. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a good variety of options, and used the hotel gym, which was a nice convenience during our stay. Overall, we had a comfortable experience.

Cons:

However, we had stayed at the neighboring Courtyard hotel just one day earlier, which was only slightly more expensive. Comparing the two, we found the Fairfield by Marriott to feel somewhat colder and more sterile in terms of atmosphere and overall experience. That said, we did not have any particular complaints about our stay.

We chose the Fairfield by Marriott mainly because it was more affordable and included breakfast, which made it a good value for the price. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, although we personally preferred the atmosphere and feel of the Courtyard.

Very nice place to say near the airport
Pros:

The location of this hotel is key. It is right near the airport so is great for staying when you have an early flight and it is across the street from a series of really nice restaurants, so there are many places to choose from to eat, including the restaurant in the hotel itself. The staff were friendly.

Cons:

I did not stay long enough to say there is something I did not like. It was perfect for my needs and met them all.
