The staff, the Location and the facilities. The hotel is newly renovated so that everything looks great. It was the perfect place for our last night in Santiago

Nice hotel, but not sure its a 4*
Pros:

Location was excellent, lots of excellent (expensive) restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable and room was very pleasant with a nice big screen TV. Aircon can also warm the room which I needed. Excellent communications...my flight was delayed 20 hours and the hotel replied promptly to my emails about the delay and ETA. The shower was always hot (tho low-ish pressure).

Cons:

The breakfast arrangement is terrible. The Lastarria Hotel is next to but separate from the Lastarria Restaurant where you get breakfast. Breakfast only starts at 8am and you only get 1 coffee, 1 juice, small yogurt and musli and eggs and bacon. If you want a 2nd coffee you pay for it. I had to skip breakfast twice when my work day started at 8 so had to buy breakfast elsewhere. On my last morning I got an early breakfast of a cold stale croissant with ham and cheese adn yoghurt and cornflakes in a cup. This is not stated up front on the web page tho many reviews (which I did not read) point this out. I would not stay here again simply because of this.

Great accommodation in a central location.
Pros:

Great location in a vibrant neighbourhood. Bed was comfortable, a good shower, nice breakfast provided by the coffee shop next door and the hotel staff were very friendly and informative.

Cons:

It was time to leave!

Mal aislamiento entre el baño y la habitación.La puerta del baño no cerraba, pero lo resolvimos pidiendo una cuña.

A perfect start to Chile and Santiago
Pros:

The property is newly refurbished and modern, in a really great area to be able to explore lots on foot. The street itself is quiet and there are many good bars and cafes in the area. The staff are incredibly helpful and have me many tips that helped make my stay better, including where not to walk as a woman travelling alone.

L'emplacement, la chambre spacieuse et confortable.
Le double vitrage

Cons:

Attention aux personnes avec le sommeil fragile : il y a une terrasse de café juste en dessous côté rue. Pas de soucis pour nous car c'était calme passé 23h, mais à savoir quand même
