Loved absolutely everything about this place and cannot recommend highly enough.
Pros:

Made to feel so welcome by every member of the team from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in an amazing location with stunning mountain views. Nice sized room and bathroom with super comfy bed and fantastic balcony looking directly onto the Eiger. Breakfast was of an excellent standard and the spa/sauna were a very pleasurable addition.

Superb Hotel, fantastic staff, location and restaurant
Pros:

Fantastic hotel, family owned hotel who take great pride in what they do. All the staff were excellent and so friendly. If you’re staying in this ski resort this hotel is a must. The Michelin star restaurant was superb for a very special night. All round brilliant

Красивый вид, чистота, просторный номер. Наличие спа. Есть халаты, тапочки и тканевые маски для лица. Очень классный душ с причиной подачей воды и хорошим напором.
Бесплатно повысили категорию номера (была маленькая загрузка отеля)

Cons:

У меня был день рождения и меня даже на словах не поздравили, не говоря уже о маленьком сюрпризе 🥲
В соляной бане очень долго сидели девушки с других номеров, пришлось ждать, пока они выйдут. Сауна также была занята парой нудистов (это не для нас)
На завтраке яйца можно заказать только сев за стол. Долго ждали пока приготовится, а нам принесли другой способ приготовления яиц.
А номере нет батареи, чтобы сушить одежду.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

The location was very convenient, and the staff are all very friendly. It is minutes away walking from the First Bahn and other ski shops, which made our trip really convenient. The breakfast even though having limited options, was with good quality food and enough for us. The facilities are modern and cozy, making us feel at home. The view from the room was incredible. We would love to come back again! The hotel was locked during the night with no staff attending, but was accessible from the back door with hotel key.

Cons:

The sock in the room as a sign of "do not disturb" startled our family a bit due to different cultural backgrounds. It could have been explained during check-in.

Dépaysement total au sein de Grindelwald !
Pros:

L’ambiance de l’hôtel avec le personnel qui est aux petits soins, on se sent comme à la maison ! Les chambres son spacieuses et très cocooning. Le petit déjeuner est complet avec des produits locaux de qualité !

Et ne pas manquer la superbe expérience culinaire au sein du restaurant de l’hôtel le soir. Un must.

Cons:

Un seul bémol pour ma part est de faire payer en supplément le spa. De plus qu’il a juste un petit bassin extérieur style jacuzzi et un sauna. Pour le prix de la chambre je trouve dommage de faire payer cela aux clients de l’hôtel.

THE place to stay in Grindelwald!
Pros:

What a nice, charming hotel in a perfect Swiss village. Located at end of the main strip of town the hotel has great views and yet is a short walk from all the town restaurants and shops.

The hotel itself is new and has the modern amenities and fixtures (e.g., bathroom) with that traditional alpine charm. Wish we were on a slightly higher floor for even better views but we loved having rooms across from each other for family of four. There is also a small spa on site with sauna and a hot tub. We used it couple of days despite it being frigid outside! It was great way to chill after a day of activities.

But most important thing about this place is the service. From the time you walk in, you know you are in for a different experience. Having someone walk you thru your plans for the stay, making sure you have booked restaurants, looking to help you with activities…it was unique. We also happen to have some allergens - and each morning the staff knew already and we were served gluten and diary free options. That was just so nice!

It is a family run hotel of some scale - and the fact that you feel “home” shows how much they care about their guests and how proud they are of what they have built.

Our only complaint was lack of ability to control the heating but with windows open, we managed thru that. And our only regret was not being able to try their restaurant- which looked amazing! We couldn’t because of the allergens and we truly appreciated they let us know ahead of time and made arrangements for us across the street at their other hotel.

Can’t wait to be back!
