Muchas Gracias to the staff. They are very professional, hardworking and cheerful.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent, the staff is outstanding, the hotel is a beautiful old home close to the downtown.

Cons:

Our room was at the front of the hotel, and it was quite noisy.

Nice low price place to stay.
Pros:

Low price and friendly manager and staff. Close to Mega store and a few restaurants. Easy to walk to downtown area.

Cons:

Bathroom floor/mat were disgustingly dirty. Water leaks on floor greatly when showering (with shower door completely closed). No safe in room (as advertised) - however manager offered to provide alternative room with safe the following day when a room with safe became available. Front hotel door always open, (however person attending it 24 hours per day we were told). The area was a little concerning.

The property was very close to everything near the Malecon
2 very large grocery stores near by and a pickleball court.
Tuk tuks were available out on the street if you needed them.
The rooms were special with each one having its own decor, we stayed in the peacock room. Big, spacious, and first impressions were lovely.

Cons:

When we arrived we found out that we didn’t get breakfast everyday and when we booked it presented breakfast included on the page of Booking.com
The manager Christian said he has seen this before and is trying to correct it.
If we wanted breakfast. It was going to cost us another $200 pesos each every morning. That $2800 pesos extra for our week. Had I known this was going to happen, I would have booked a cheaper hotel which Booking.com had on their page. And so did air bnb.
So That was very disappointing for the fact I was sure we booked it with breakfast and there were no kitchenettes in the rooms, so cooking for ourselves was not an option.
Christian however because there was no coffee that went with the coffee pots in the rooms allowed us to come to the kitchen and fill our yeti’s with coffee every morning, which we drank in our rooms and had cereal instead of a hot breakfast.
When we went to swim in the pool, it was dirty, laden with debris and slimy, no filter was running. So I messaged the hotel. A girl came out and turned on the filter. The maintenance then started cleaning the pool the day after the message. Which we were grateful for.
We had to close the bathroom door to the lovely big bathroom we had because as much as they have tried to fix it, the rain head from the shower leaks hot water all the time sounding louder at night.
It needs a new rain head shower possibly and taps. And they took out the bidet.
There was a big square what they called their tub, but you couldn’t have a bath in it. Too much water to fill it first of all, and only a rubber flat stopper which wouldn’t hold the water in properly was what we had. So showers were the acceptable choice. I was looking for soaking into a tub with Epsom salts.
Otherwise the bathroom was lovely, large, lots of room for clothes and toiletries.
They also had to come in to fix our tv, for we couldn’t navigate the channels easily. The cable wasn’t hooked up properly and the smart tv didn’t work great either.

Great location, kind staff, spacious rooms.
Pros:

The villa itself is amazing, the rooms are really spacious and the staff is kind and always available to help you. You're ~15 min walk from the pier and the city centre. We particularly enjoyed the garden with the pool and breakfast was delicious. The hotel can also help you booking tours or scooter in no time at all.

Cons:

Our room was on the ground floor and if you wanted some privacy to had to completely close down all the curtains, meaning no light at all in the room, but it wasn't a big deal for us since we spent most of the day outdoor.

Lovely quiet place, great staff, will stay again.

Location was perfect - walkable to everything, two blocks from the beach

Cons:

Wish we had some additional furniture in our room - a second accent chair, a small occasional table, side tables for the bed, better bedside lighting.

Stanza normale, hotel un po’ datato ma c’era tutto il necessario

Cons:

Una montagna di zanzare in tutto l’hotel, ho rinunciato al rifacimento quotidiano della camera perche altrimenti non avrei più dormito.
Posizione non esattamente il massimo.
Prezzo assolutamente esagerato per l’offerta.
Per di più i nostri amici hanno pagato 100 euro in più per una stanza identica alla nostra, semplicemente perché aveva un divano in più (la prenotazione era comunque per due persone) quando avrebbe dovuto essere, dalla descrizione, di un livello superiore

Great location in a beautiful heritage Mexican home boutique hotel
Pros:

Villas Sergovia is a beautiful remodelled home made into a hotel with beautiful grounds and pool to enjoy.

The staff are all friendly and attentive to your needs.

Cons:

I have stayed previously at this hotel. However this visit my room made an annoying electrical sound like that of a resister and I could not get a fitful sleep. There had recently been a power outage in the neighbourhood and this could have been a contributing factor to the noise. However it was not as restful a stay as previously enjoyed.
