An Infrastructure tax was introduced by the Zanzibar government from 1st July 2015. The tax of US$5 per person per day is to be collected by the hotel accommodations from all inhouse guests on behalf of the Zanzibar Revenue Board (ZRB). This amount is payable directly on check-in.

Very friendly staff and spacious, clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Good wifi.
The location was superb, just in the alleys of Stonetwon, the building was traditional and the decor complemented it, truly a boutique hotel experience, staffs were polite and breakfast was decent, AC was working properly.
I asked one of the staff to extend my stay and he said he will do that. But next morning we were asked to check out, and the reason given was their system was not working when I asked the staff to extend the stay and they got fully booked. I had to look for another hotel in the last minute.
C’est un bon hôtel pour 1/2 jours à Stone Town.
Ne vous attendez pas à avoir un grand petit dej le matin c’est acceptable ce qu’il propose et ça ne change pas vraiment mais c’est plutôt cool. Je conseille pour une ou deux nuits max. Les chambres sont propres en revanche petit bémol c’est que le pommeau de douche est parfois un peu ancien et le débit d’eau est parfois trop faible et ça peut être pénible quand vous faites un shampooing d’y passer un moment à rincer encore et encore, et également la vite « teintée » dans la salle de bain qui donne sur le couloir si vous avez la chambre 10 attention mettez une serviette parceque vous êtes visible pour les personnes qui passent dans l’escalier/couloir pendant que vous êtes dans la salle de bain donc mettez une serviette parceque sinon au revoir l’intimité et j’ai fait le test avec ma femme en arrivant heureusement et nous avons transmis l’information à l’hôtel. L’hôtel est dans un quartier inaccessible en voiture donc bon courage avec les valises c’est vraiment pénible et quand je dis pénible je pèse mes mots le taxi vous déposera à environ 5 à 7 min de l’hôtel et vous devez faire le reste du trajet donc si vous arrivez dans la nuit c’est un peu pénible mais le taxi se doit de vous accompagner jusqu’à destination de l’hôtel. Le quartier est assez sécurisé, il ne vous arrivera rien et revanche vous êtes dans une zone avec plusieurs boutiques donc vous vous ferez souvent accoster.
Le pommeau de la salle de bain a rendu l’âme il faudrait le changer. Et mettre un vrai film sur la vitre de la salle de bain pour ne pas être vu par les personnes dans l’hôtel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we were well taken care of around the clock. The breakfast was great, and the rooms are very cozy.
Late at night, guests can't check themselves into the hotel; they have to rely on the staff.
