Hotel Ohana

This property was ideal for an easy transfer from the airport. The property itself was beautiful, serene, clean and intimate. The staff was genuinely helpful. The property is about a forty minute walk from the beach, but taxi is readily available for the fair price of five pesos. There are a multiple range of tours that will pick you up at the hotel and you may request scheduling and pick-up via the front desk.

The owner Paula picked us at the airport which was a nice service. Room was ready when we get in. Breakfast included. Staff are accessible by WhatsApp and were very responsive. Helped us get a taxi to places. It is also good to book private tours via the hotel. More enjoyable.

We also appreciated the convenience of booking our tours directly through the hotel, which made experiencing the island seamless and stress-free.

The staff were excellent and very attentive. It’s an oasis on Eastern Island.

We really appreciated the warm welcome at the airport. The rooms were impeccable, and the breakfast delicious. The entire staff was really nice.
Although this property is a little outside of town, we walked to the town a few times during our stay.

Beautiful hotel, great food, excellent service. The staff were really friendly and always looked to make our stay special. The hotel is a bit further out of town, about 40 minute walk or a quick taxi ride. Very safe to walk around and explore.

Beautiful hotel located in a quiet area. It's not in the hustle and bustle of the main street with stores and restaurants. We walked to and from the main street and surrounding area everyday and at most took 15 minutes. You could also take a taxi if you don't want to walk. The staff was super friendly and helpful with everything. They pick you up and drop you off at the airport which is a great feature. Every morning they had a variety of options for breakfast. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is modern with a Polynesian vibe which goes with the island.

Celebrated my 40th birthday in Easter Island and decided to stay in Ohana. The location is a bit far from the town if you want to walk.but you can always ask the hotel to call for a taxi or you can also rent a car directly at the hotel which is a lot cheaper compared to the rental cars in town. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive with our needs and they even made me a birthday cake which was very nice. The rooms are huge and the AC was working great. Overall I give this hotel a 10/10

Superbe hôtel au calme, dans un magnifique jardin avec piscine. Le personnel est aux petits soins, très bons et copieux petits déjeuners, chambre très spacieuse…. Bref, une très belle adresse avec juste 9 chambres

Foi um dos únicos hotéis que tive oportunidade de confirmar em loco que as fotos disponíveis online correspondem à absoluta realidade. É um hotel excelente, novo, com tudo extremamente limpo e bem cuidado, pensado na funcionalidade com design irretocável. Estão muito de parabéns! As refeições são deliciosas, saudáveis, preparadas com os melhores produtos frescos. Alguns inclusive da propriedade, que tem horta e pomar. O staff é o toque de excelência. São pessoas que estão lá para fazerem realmente o melhor para os hóspedes, sempre com sorriso e cuidado genuíno. Estou absolutamente encantada com este hotel.

Escolhi o Ohana principalmente pelas avaliações e pela área externa, já que ficaria 1 semana, e pretendia aproveitar a área da piscina. Infelizmente, no segundo dia, ao anoitecer, nos deparamos com uma infestação de baratas, a quantidade era assustadora, justamente na área da piscina. Avisamos o staff do hotel, nos disseram que era um problema da ilha, mas que iriam fazer algo a respeito. Enquanto estivemos por lá, o problema se manteve, e infelizmente não conseguimos aproveitar a área mais linda do hotel! Outro problema que tivemos foi com o ar condicionado. Ligamos um dia porque os vizinhos estavam fumando na varanda, e mesmo após desligado, passou a fazer um barulho absurdo, provavelmente o motor, de minutos em minutos, não nos permitindo dormir naquela noite. Como tínhamos um passeio às 6h, mandei um e-mail pedindo pra nos trocar de quarto. Retornamos e trocamos de quarto, mas por precaução não ligamos o ar. No último dia, horas antes de sair, ligamos o ar e identificamos que tinha exatamente o mesmo problema do outro quarto. Apesar disso, o staff era muito atencioso, o café da manhã maravilhoso, com muita variedade e tudo extremamente delicioso. Havia café e chá disponíveis na recepção sempre, e água saborizada. Para pegar água mineral, disponível conforme anúncio, era necessário acessar a cozinha. Não há bicicletas disponíveis. Pelo valor da diária, não esperávamos encontrar nenhum desses problemas, que não se justificam pelo isolamento da ilha.

The staff and rooms at hotel Ohana are incredible. The food the chef makes is delicious. If I ever go back to Rapa Nui I will be staying here

My experience of the hotel Ohana was excellent. We really couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The hotel was absolutely spotless and welcoming, but the best part and selling point of this place, are the staff! The staff are all amazing especially Joan the manager! And I’m sorry I don’t have her name, but the head chef was absolutely top of her game!!! Everything she prepared was amazing and top quality, but lunch was amazing as evidenced by the photos attached! Thank you all! Definitely hope to return during January/February festival time!!!

Excellent place to stay in Easter island. The newest hotel in town n only nine impeccable units w staff to indulge you. Very large comfy rooms and quiet surroundings. Bed so nice to sleep deeply. Breakfast is included n it’s outstanding. The number one choice to stay in my humble opinion. Go for the second floor suite.

The staff was top notch! I was booked into another hotel and made a last minute reservation Pablo and Pablo, who basically manage the hotel, are the most professionl, ooutstanding, and friendliest people you will met. The whole staff goes out of their way to make sure you have an excellent experience.

The hotel has beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere is tranquil . I was in a room with a balcony that overlooked the pool and courtyard it had a wonderful view of the sunset. Plus the rooms where kept in immaculate condition.

The hotel itself is located somewhat out from the downtown area but they will get you a cab for 5,000 paseos ($5) and even pick you up themselves if they could not get a cab back to the hotel. You could walk is about a 30 minte walk to town and the whole island is safe.

Amazing property! Everyone here is incredibly kind and so attentive, the room was absolutely beautiful! The view is gorgeous, and I love that it is a small boutique hotel with a really focus on taking care of you as the customer. Phenomenal experience, very close to the airport, and very close to Town center. Would absolutely recommend staying here, and would stay here again when I return.
