The location was great.
Almost everything; the windows didn’t close; the fly screens were shredded so insects got in and the blinds banged all night; the pipes howled like banshees when other rooms used their bathrooms ; ridiculously small space; bathroom basin in the small bedroom with a mirror that might work for little people; I don’t know where to stop the catalog of horror. We abandoned this overrated and overpriced misleading establishment. They purport to be recently refurbished and this appears to be very cosmetic only. I have found more charm in a Pilbara truck stop donga. It’s not worth more than $135 a night.
Free breakfast first day great
Bed not good
Position
Noise from neighbours
Location is good / pool looks nice and was clean
Reception lady extremely rude on check in because arrived at 1:40pm. Bathroom is extremely tiny with an external sink and a mirror way too low. Pub advertised as a sports bar and has one small tv that plays Foxtel - sports bar refers to 6x small tvs in the dining room wall with 5 of them only free to air (not a sports bar at all )
Food and location were great!
Tiny room. Very thin walls… could hear the neighbours..
Conveniently located in heart of the village, hotel served good meals & the staff were friendly.
The room needed a bit of maintenance but overall was ok for a one night stay. The complimentary breakfast kit was a nice touch.
Excellent customer service.
A breakfast box was included in the price which was a nice surprise. The location was in the middle of the town with pub attached.
Poor lighting, no bedside lights, cheap toilet paper, unable to fill the kettle from the basin so had to use mugs, teapot smelled stale so was unusable, bed on castors so it slid away from the wall when sitting up, shower taps were wrongly positioned, cold on left. Expensive
Central location, clean sheets, spacious room. The pub with good meals is on site.
Beds not overly comfortable, noise carries in from outdoors, water in shower unsteady temperature, place felt rather dated and very basic.
Good location, only a short drive to the beach. Comfortable, well equipped room with a few snacks supplied. The attached bar and restaurant is also a good option to have.
It was generally a really good stay until about 15 minutes before checkout when housekeeping aggressively knocked on the door multiple times saying it's time to check out, when it was actually 9:45 and checkout was 10am.
This motel has nothing going for it.
Very primitive.
Booked 2 nights in what was described as a “deluxe” and supposedly newly renovated room in an advertised 3 star property. It was overpriced, overrated and unsafe. We left after one night. Main issue was the dangerous slippery shower floor which we politely reported to the owner and sought a room change. He responded in an aggressive and confrontational manner that "it is not slippery". Room was in urgent need of modernisation and major renovations with paint peeling and stained carpet. There was no ventilation in the shower/toilet room (no full ensuite bathroom) with the only window frozen closed. Paving outside the unit and path to the bistro was broken and dangerous. Owners only response to all issues raised was an abrupt "it is a 3 star hotel, next". We were told firmly that if we left we would not be refunded the $275 room charge, which we were happy to forego. Before booking we should have read the other unfavourable reviews about this place and its owner's attitude.
Nice rooms , great water pressure for the showers great position.
Nothing. It was all good.
