Fabulous central Funchal gem
Pros:

Very central location in old
Town close to bars restaurants and a good place to access everything. Great breakfast catering to all. Roof top pool and sun deck good size and full

Cons:

Room cleaning a bit hit and miss on times dependent on guest check outs we could be cleaned at 3pm

Great location and very good hotel . Would stay again
Pros:

Location, rooms, bathrooms, restaurant , breakfast and roof top facilities

Cons:

Staff were not friendly consistently , taxi’s couldn’t all stop right outside so had to drag bags to taxi rank . No porters at hotel

Excellent apart from a few minor issues as previously mentioned!
Pros:

Very good breakfast and the bed was comfortable also the hotel is in a convenient location. The staff were helpful and polite speaking good English.

Cons:

The cold plates at breakfast meaning our food went cold before we had chance to eat it! The lift took a bit of getting use to if you forgot to swipe your card you were plunged into darkness!

Alles on Allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Frühstück sehr gut. Omelette, Spiegeleier etc. werden ganz frisch gemacht.
Lage des Hotels super. Unmittelbar im Zentrum Funchals.
Schöne Roof topp Bar mit kleinem Pool, hervorragende Aussicht.

Cons:

Das Schrankplatzangebot ist absolut unzureichend. Ich war allein in einem Doppelzimmer und hatte nicht genügend Ablagemöglichkeiten im geschlossenen Schrank für meine Bekleidung.

Good breakfast and very central location.
Nice rooftop pool and plenty of sunbeds.

Cons:

Room was not cleaned on several occasions until late afternoon. Missing items like water , towels etc . Not great housekeeping.
Dirty drain smell coming from bathroom the day we checked in , but not sure if this was due to heavy rain as seemed to be a problem outside as well.

Pros:

The location does it. It cannot be more central than it is. Very helpful staff

Cons:

There are some noises in the room but it comes with the very central location - it is bearable though. Good breakfast but poor lunch/dinner restaurant (there are 2).

Super hotel op de juiste lokatie.
Pros:

De ligging van het hotel kan eigenlijk niet beter.
Het enorme ontbijt is fantastisch.
De bedden zijn super.
Personeel is aardig en behulpzaam.

Cons:

Schoonmaak had wel iets beter mogen zijn, schoon maar kan beter.

Great location, nice tarrace with the pool
Pros:

We really loved that the pool was open in January and the water was warmed up :) It's a small pool, so it's not possible to swim there properly, but it's still lovely. The location is very convenient for traveling around the island. Personnel were very nice.

Cons:

The room was quite dark, I had the feeling it was raining outside all the time, even though it was sunny. Also, there are not a lot of vegan options for breakfast

Highly recommend, fantastic stay.
Pros:

Amazing views from the pool, very comfortable bed and lovely shower. Breakfast was fab, if a little busy. Excellent location.

Cons:

A little on the pricier side, but worth it for fabulous stay and pretty perfect location.
