I would recommend. Just minor points
Pros:

Location and the reception staff are excellent! The room and bathroom are really comfortable! Nice beds!

Cons:

Unfortunately there was a lot of noise coming in from the street despite all windows being closed (room 118)
Breakfast was a bit hectic

Heerlijk! We hebben genoten.
Pros:

De locatie was fantastisch als uitvalsbasis om het eiland én de stad te verkennen. Het hotel ligt midden in het oude centrum.
De kamers zijn ruim, het bed is gigantisch en ligt heerlijk.

Cons:

Wij hebben eenmalig bij het hotel geluncht. We zouden dit niet nog eens doen. Het eten vonden we matig. In funchal zijn veel betere (ook prijs/kwaliteit verhouding) eet opties, vooral de lokale keuken.

Pros:

Breakfast was lovely , very good choice. The hotel was centrally based close to some lovely restaurants. Close to the bus station and cable cars. we could not have been more pleased with our choice.

Pros:

Sehr gut im Zentrum gelegen. Von dort aus alles gut erreichbar. Die Facilities im Hotel alle gut, das Personal freundlich, unser Zimmer bequem und gut aussehend. Achtung vor niedrigen Stockwerken (dunkel und laut, die Seitengassen wenig attraktiv). Das Frühstücksbuffet mit guter Auswahl.

Cons:

Hinter gutem, ansprechendem, modernem Design verbergen sich viele doch ziemlich preisgünstige Materialien (Kunststoffe). Auch spürbar im Frühstücksraum; Unser Badezimmer war viel zu klein. Die Handtücher (das war seltsam) allesamt bereits zerschlissen). Eher 4 Sterne.

Hôtel avec emplacement idéal à Funchal et un rooftop génial !
Pros:

Emplacement au top au centre de Funchal. Hôtel incroyablement silencieux (aucun bruit la nuit). Une mention spéciale pour le rooftop qui est très agréable ! Tout était parfait!

Komfortowy pobyt w pięknym Funchal na cudownej wyspie!
Pros:

Świetna lokalizacja, wygodne lóżko, duża łazienka w pokoju 3 os. Bardzo dobre śniadania (duży wybór produktów). Codzienne sprzątanie oraz dostarczanie wody. Sympatyczny i pomocny personel.

Exceeded expectations--room, service, location, pool and breakfast!
Pros:

The hotel was wonderful--great location, very friendly staff, accommodated early check-in, wonderful pool and rooftop and great breakfast buffet. Room was very clean and comfortable and I liked the design. Great bath products and shower. 2pm check in and 12 noon check out was also generous.

I liked everything!
