Room very comfortable. Swimming Pool great. Good breakfast.

Scarsa attenzione nel riassetto delle camere: 2 gg non hanno messo il tappeto per la doccia, 1 gg abbiamo dovuto chiedere il telo doccia, i teli piscina non sono mai stati sostituiti in 7 gg… tolti quelli sporchi abbiamo dovuto usare i teli doccia, non sempre rimpiazzavano cialde caffe e i bicchieri usati

Amazing amenities, great location, and great service. Our flight home was cancelled and we rebooked immediately.
Pros:

Amazing amenities, the beds were huge and comfortable. The pool and deck chairs were a great way to relax on a warm day. The location was perfect, everywhere was walkable in old town.

Hôtel parfait pour visiter Funchal à pieds et profiter de l’ambiance de la ville tout en dormant au calme.
Pros:

La localisation, le calme, le petit déjeuner, l’amabilité du personnel, la vue depuis le roof top.

Cons:

Il manque des suspens dans la chambre, plus de ceintres et une deuxième chaise. Cela complèterait bien l’équipement.

Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel. Service, Sauberkeit und Ausstattung haben unseren Erwartungen voll entsprochen – hier gibt es wirklich nichts zu beanstanden.
Leider wurde der positive Gesamteindruck durch den Lärm im Schlafzimmer etwas getrübt. Zwar war während unseres Aufenthalts ein Fußballspiel, was zu erhöhter Geräuschkulisse geführt hat, allerdings fiel uns auch unabhängig davon auf, dass die Fenster sehr undicht sind. Dadurch waren Geräusche von außen deutlich hörbar, was den Schlafkomfort merklich beeinträchtigt hat.
Mit besser isolierten Fenstern wäre der Aufenthalt nahezu perfekt gewesen.

A great stay in a first class beautiful and welcoming hotel in the best possible location in Funchal
Pros:

Breakfast was very good and very nicely located. The selection of food was very good and also the coffee.

Cons:

The room could have been cleaner when we arrived and the carpet outside the room was not vacumed very often so it wasn't clean either but other than that we were very happy

Top Lage! Zimmer waren schön, das Doppelbett riesig groß, beim Frühstücksbuffet gibt es nichts zu meckern, super Dachterrasse mit Pool! Von dort aus hat man auch eine schöne Aussicht. Mein Mann hatte während unserem Aufenthalt Geburtstag und wir erhielten daher eine kleine Torte und 1 Fl. Sekt auf's Zimmer (sehr nette Geste vom Hotel).
