Beautiful, serene stay with thoughtful touches!
Pros:

We had a lovely stay overall. Ladybird Boutique Hotel at Kanonkop is a beautiful and serene property, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

A special thank you to Rachael and Silas, who went out of their way to accommodate us. They kindly arranged a bed for our little one, allowed us an early check-in, and even surprised us with a thoughtful Easter chocolate cake, which was a lovely touch.

Breakfast was enjoyable and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and well-kept.

Cons:

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Pros:

Stuff is a key in this place! Friendly, helpful, kind! Without them it would not be the same. I think the kindest staff I have ever met. Service was outstanding. Moreover hotel, rooms and its amenties also very looked after, beautiful view to the lake. Will be back!

Definitiv nicht zu empfehlen
Pros:

Das unfassbar nette und bemühte Personal hat uns am besten gefallen, alles andere lies leider echt zu wünschen übrig.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft ist alt und total renovierungsbedürftig. Unser Zimmer war grundsätzlich ok, aber es roch muffig, war überhaupt nicht sauber, im Bad war die Dusche, Mülleimer und WC Bürste angerostet. Überall war es staubig, das Balkondach war voller Dreck, Spinnweben, Tieren….
Das Frühstück war ok, aber das schlechteste unserer dreiwöchigen Reise und man durfte sich auch nur eine Sache zum Frühstück aussuchen, was bei 180€/Nacht ein Witz ist. Es gab noch nicht mal Wasser im Zimmer.
Es war einfach alles eher ungepflegt und nicht wirklich sauber.

Lovely short getaway!
Pros:

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and hospitable. Location was great, close to some awesome wine farms. Strong wifi in the rooms.

Cons:

We really wanted to enjoy the pool facilities but it was closed, which was disappointing as we had a heatwave at the time and no aircon in the bedrooms. The smaller pool was open but it's situated on the balcony in the dining area, so there's no loungers or areas to tan.
