Hotel Turkish House

Where to start...from the very beginning engagement with the hotel was a delight! My booking was received with a very friendly confirmation. Just before my arrival an email arrived offering help with getting from the airport if desired. I received the warmest of welcomes on arrival; the front desk team took a good deal of time to explain local delights with the aid of a map gifted for my use. I don't usually book breakfast at hotels, but I'd arrived late, hadn't identified anywhere for breakfast and had a full day's sightseeing planned. I decided on the hotel breakfast, and was so charmed by the courtyard I didn't look elsewhere and ate there every morning. The selection of cold eats, hot and cold drinks, and daily offer of eggs cooked any way, including obviously Turkish, kept me going back. The whole hotel was immaculately clean, and very well presented. The room was spacious, comfortable, and even the shower was great - no poor water pressure or varying temperature which can so often be the case in hotels, and the hotel supplied complimentary premium toiletries. The hotel was not only excellent for reaching main attractions (mosques, bazaars, cistern), restaurants, but also transport links (metro, tram, ferries, airport bus). The whole team was amazing; nothing - NO THING - was too much trouble. What an absolute gem! When all you can say is that a box of tissues in the room would've been welcome, you hit the jackpot. I didn't ask, but am certain a box would've been provided had I asked!

Just perfect in every way. Great location, comfortable and clean rooms and lovely helpful staff.

This is my second stay at this delightful gem. A little oasis in the midst of Istanbul. Every detail is thoughtful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed is comfy and I wish I had such an amazing shower at home! Breakfast is great. The best part is the private patio out back, great for breakfast or a glass of wine to reflect on the day’s activities. If I get to come back to Istanbul, I will stay here again!

Tolles Hotel in historischem Gebäude an super Lage. Das Zimmer war hübsch und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, wir bekamen viele Tipps und haben uns äusserst willkommen gefühlt. Gefrühstückt haben wir gut und es gab neben Klassikern wie Müsli und Brötchen auch immer türkische Leckereien.

A little oasis of quiet neighborhood just 10 min from the main attractions (Sultanahmet area). We loved the nicely decorated room and the vibe of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay again in the same place.

I had amazing stay ! It was central to a lot of the history of Istanbul in walking distance. It was welcoming and awesome staff would stay again!

It was in easy walking distance of all the main Sultanahmet attractions.
Also vast choice of excellent restaurants .
The traffic congestion in Istanbul is bad, so being able to walk is an additional bonus.
Staff were very friendly and helpful , organised taxis etc for us.

We stayed for 5 nights at Hotel Turkish House and we loved every moment of it. We were greeted by the lovely staff who gave us lots of tips & tricks about where best to go in Istanbul etc. We had a room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the courtyard - it was quiet, perfectly clean and spacious. The bed was also super comfy. The Turkish breakfast buffet was great too. Thanks to all the staff who made our trip amazing, we will be back!!!
