Ocean Mist Leith

All staff very friendly and helpful. Needed decaf teabags in the room and these were swiftly provided. Good selection on the continental breakfast. Room clean and spacious. Also very quiet, a little noise as there was a connecting door (locked) to the room next door but this did not affect our stay. Would recommend, had a great stay.

What a great find in Leith. Easy parking, excellent reception and a very well decorated and appointed room. Comfortable bed. The bar at the top was very cost, well stocked with terrific views. Staff were very helpful.


Breakfast was in the bar area which I didn’t have - continental.

Something different with very helpful staff. Location for eating out options was excellent and the city tram was a 5 - 10 minute walk away so easy to get into the city from Leith. Even better the same tram takes you all the way to the airport and as it is near the end of the run seats and luggage storage are not a problem.
The bedroom was very comfortable although a little tight for luggage storage while the bathroom was excellent and a good shower.
Staff at the desk, most helpful and knowledgable and always willing to listen. A quiet place to stop for a break and not so far from the city.

Not a conventional hotel but a great experience. Beautiful rooms but it was the staff who made it a great stay. Location perfect for getting into and around the city.

Our third stay on the Ocean Mist and I can't wait to return already. From the moment we stepped onboard we were made welcome. Our room was immaculate, very comfy and had everything we needed. The small Castle View bar (which to be fair only catches a glimpse of the castle!) is lovely and offers some great cocktails. Highly recommended

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable and quirky rooms, exceptional staff and a decent breakfast. These guys are doing it right.

Lovely room with a large comfy bed, bathrobes as well which is always nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was we had a connecting room which meant we could hear the people next door. Lovely continental breakfast. Hotel is close to restaurants, bars and Ocean Terminal shopping centre.

This was an amazing stay. The staff was amazing. Great breakfast. Loved staying here. Would definitely stay again!!! Highly recommend

A unique stay. Great location. Comfy beds. The staff were amazing, very helpful. Provided great service. The continental breakfast was exceptional, with fresh fruit, cereals, juice, selection of breads, coffee & tea.

The bar in the evening was a great location to unwind.

Was better than we could have hoped for. The ship is excellent accomodation & the staff & cleaners all went above & beyond to make our stay wonderful.

So friendly and welcoming, so convenient and easy to get around. Amazing restaurants on the door step. Service was exceptional. We will definitely stay again.

Overall great experience, breakfast was excellent, great bar - unique experience on a boat in the heart of Leith.

We had a very comfortable stay aboard the Ocean Mist, certainty a boutique hotel!. The crew were wonderful and the Castle view Bar/breakfast room is a very atmospheric spot
