We stayed at Ori as a group of 4, and it was one of our best stays in Japan. The hotel is immaculate, and the room is thoughtfully designed, feeling both comfortable and spacious. Located in a quiet residential area of Kyoto, it still offers easy, walkable access to the city center. The luggage storage room was also very convenient—we were able to leave our bags and explore the area before checking in

The hotel was immaculately presented and the staff were super helpful. The neighbourhood was fairly residential and quite but conveniently located a short walk into Kyoto proper :)
The location is perfect to reach the major areas. The stay was pretty clean.

Relatively good location, about 20 minutes walk to Nishiki market, but there's bus no.12 close to hotel. Also close,Shogun palace. Two marts about 5 minutes away.
Hotel modern, room clean, with large cupboard where you can store one suitcase upright.
Beds comfy, wifi good.
Separate room with shower/bathtub and toilet, other for sink. Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner provided.

The reason for choosingthis particular hotel was that we had wanted a room with a balcony
but we were asked not to use the (actually tiny) balcony for safety reasons. Hotel should not advertise balcony if access is discouraged (on the balcony door the sticker warned to use only in cases of emergency).
Designated smoking area is a small outside space, but there's nowhere to sit or place a coffee cup.
Posizione ottima, centrale, in un quartiere molto carino. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo, pulito, personale molto gentile, dotato di tutto.
Il check in on line è un po’ difficoltoso, occorre inoltre anche scannerizzare il passaporto….
Sono comunque molto gentili, in risposta alla mia e-mail in cui facevo presente che non mi era arrivata nessuna comunicazione con i dati per l’ingresso mi hanno detto che ci sarebbe comunque stato del personale a disposizione per aiutarmi, e mi hanno risolto il problema curando l’invio della e-mail

Tidy room and good basic kitchen facilities. Comfy beds. Handy access to laundry facilities. Nice quiet location., Easy walk to main city area, Nishita Markets, Nijo Temple. Also good access to trains and buses.
