Hirkani Garden & Resort

DO NOT BOOK this hotel.They CHARGE you for a basics like water bottles...that is the way they served us. I had WORST & DISSATISFACTORY service at this hotel. I was charged approx 3000/- per day where this hotel doesnt even provide 2 complimentary water bottles. They expect a couple to consume only 1 bottle of water in 24 hours. Also they hide the info that they CHARGE every bottle post 1 quantity and provide tap water for drinking. With this EXPENSIVE cost a hotel gives a tea kettle and tea/ coffee sachets in the rooms.These people dont even provide you 5 rs worth sachets to drink coffee/tea for a 3000/- room. COCKROACHES and webs were there, bad to extreme zero hygiene. and we were given a LEAKING bathroom in this winter season as bonus for this cost.

No respects,no courtesy,no services for the regular repeated clients like us.We received the treatment like ordinary customers staying free of costs in the hotel.No one to care us.Even breakfast served was not upto the expectations.Very poor & below average services.Showing monopoly even in off season charging higher rate than other hotels better than Hirkani.Will never visit or recommend in future to anyone.In service industry especially in hotel industry if no respects to regular visitors like us then very soon hotel has to close down for sure.

Our stay was comfortable. Manager Srinivas and all the staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was different with many items every day. The quality of breakfast was very good. Rooms were cleaned and comfortable. The washroom was cleaned. Instant hot water available. Electric kettle and tea, coffee sachets, and mineral water were available every day in the room. Breakfast restaurant near by the room but main restaurant is near the road and little bit away from the room. Management needs to create short access to the restaurant.

Absolutely empty on the day during rains for lunch weekdays.
Yet we tried the same. What was the best Corn Pattice was refried with oil oozing. The corn paneer frankie was better but tasteless.
However the bark, pithla and match was good. Service is just pathetic. Most `things not available.
However the strawberry cream was good in taste though the strawberry were completely in frozen state when given to us

Me and My family have been visiting this elegant resort for Many years now incl with my SIL a well known film celeberity..The owners Mr Bavalekar Sr and Shri Amit have improved the property over the years..Manager Shri Sriniwas another Gem of a person..All round a memorable experience going there again in January 2023 as every year for holidays and relaxation....Colonel Chauhan Indian Army

Not same as looks in pictures. Very noisy at night. Almost nothing inside resort for entertainment.

Stayed in the family executive room. The place is good enough for the money charged. The room is spacious with a good view from the balcony. However there were a few add-ons which could hv been provided like footwear for the room to be specific. There is monkey menace so avoid keeping stuff in the balcony. The food is not too great - had only breakfast there. The staff is good and helpful. The location is preety good and near to the places which I wanted to see.
Overall a good stay

The hotel is good, staff is welcoming but the restaurant is substandard. We stayed for 2 nights and the breakfast served on the first day was not fresh the dosa sabji was stale so we decided to skip breakfast on the last day but we still went there as the receptionist insisted we have it while checking out. The options given were idly, paav bhaji and uttapam. You don't have to be sherlock Holmes when someone serves you a dish like paav bhaji in breakfast, obviously it was a leftover. We requested a dosa instead of uttapam but they refused to serve it. We left the place without eating. If the hotel doesn't want to serve their customers breakfast then they shouldn't do it. Serving substandard food is humiliating . It's a shame that the restaurant alone can degrade the overall experience. I would have definitely revisited this place if it hadn't been the restaurant. There are far better options than this and you can definitely avoid this place.

Visited Hirkani Garden resort, basic room with minimum amenities. Don't expect alot from here. Not sure about sanitization standard in room. Reception staff seen following safety measures which was good. Overall average stay experience.

One of my favourite restaurants in the region. We had visited this place on my previous trip as well (2008) and it was only a small restaurant that time which they have expanded into a resort.
The restaurant is simple and offers tasty food at reasonable prices. We had gone for the lunch and the food quality is good.
I liked chicken lollipops, butter chicken and especially Dal khichadi.

1. Location - though on the highway the area is large and actual rooms are away from the noise. I was skeptical that it would be far away from main attractions. But if you have your own vehicle it is not too far. Takes around 10 mins to reach Venna Lake.
2. View - back side of the resort has a beautiful forest view. You can also hear the sound of a water fall. It is very close to Lingmala Falls
3. Rooms - We stayed in executive rooms on second floor. Both rooms had a seat out with nice forest view. Rooms at far end have better view. Bathrooms are clean.
Rooms are good and clean but they look far better in the photographs on TripAdvisor.
4. Grounds and garden - They have a beautiful play area with lawns, a strawberry patch, vegetable patch and beautiful flower plants everywhere.
5. Restaurant and food - They have a veg-non veg restaurant. We only had our breakfast there. It was good. Nothing special but good. Breakfast was included in the package. They had dosa, bread omlet, poha, etc. we could choose any one item from this list and the tea/coffee. I feel it is less.
6. Service - We ordered tea/coffee in the evening. they served it in the garden on request. It was good.
7. Booking - We booked this property well in advance by directly contacting the hotel. We got a good deal. I had booked 2 executive rooms and specially requested for adjacent rooms on second floor. And they had confirmed the booking and rooms on 2nd floor. But on the check in date when I contacted them through email as they were not picking phone, they responded me informing they don't have any rooms. This was quite surprising. When I contacted them again they said it was a mistake in their system and rooms are available.
One of the allocated rooms was too small and an extra bed couldn't fit in it. They were then offering us other room on different floor, which was not acceptable to us. I found it fishy. I think they allocated the better rooms to someone else on higher price. one of the rooms was bigger and quite good. We didn't want to spoil our mood by fighting with them so we accepted the small room.
Apart from this one point there was no issue. Our stay was quite comfortable and enjoyable. Overall it's a good option for budget stay in Mahabaleshwar.

stay - it is on Mahabaleshwar - Panchgani main road and rooms are little away from main road hence no pollution and sound issues. most of rooms has garden view and valley view.
food - they have restaurant on main road facing and open for public. room service is available. Food is very tasty. prices are at little higher side. but you can get quality food. But the breakfast is limited with 2 breakfasts per person and for below 5 years old kids you need to order breakfast separately. Also there are limited options available for breakfast and good part is it varies everyday.
staff is good and co-operative and can help you with all details.
they have strawberry garden and vegetables garden and is maintaining well.
Small kids play area is available and is in good condition. So kids can spend some time there.

Rooms are having good view and toilets also clean and neat. Hot water is available 24hrs. But what I observed that building is little old and when you walk You can feel the stinking smell. Also they say it's a resort. but no facilities or activities they run. Except chess board.
all the toileteries, camp fire and everything is chargeable.
also during last week of year the price is 2 to 3 times than rest of the year.
overall good stay, tasty food, excellent location, good staff, ample parking.
improvements needed are room prices are at higher side, food price little higher, no amenities or activities, building is not maintained well.
If they can provide little more facilities, amnities, providing required toileteries, this resort can become excellent place to stay. People come here for once or twice in life time and with little more facilities they will carry their memories for long.

Its on the main road. Decent hotel to stay with basic aminities. Good view. Wifi and hot water facility avaliable. Food is ok. Lovely valley view lot of greenery and colourful flowers. Swing for adults and playing area for the kids. There is a strawberry fellow just outside the hotel excellent and tasty strawberries and reasonable too. Just 1 drawback if you need hot water anytime in the day you need to let water go for more than a bucket which I feel is a waste the owners need to work on it as we shouldnot waste water as it is a important resource. Service is good too ample parking space too. Very good concept of drip irrigation. Bathroom should have quick drying tiles

We went to this restaurant more to taste its homely chicken but then our attention was drawn by a dish called Veg Tawa Sizzler and after tasting it, we all fall in love of that dish. Other dishes too are wonderfully tasty. The major minus point is overall hygiene which needs whole lot of improvement. Even the menu card looks like it needs to be dry cleaned.
Be that as it may, I will visit this restaurant again and again for the tasty dishes they serve!

So I was Looking for A getaway Near Mumbai because Lonavala has been Explored way more than 10 times , I had Two Options either Igatpuri or Mahabaleshwar , Mahableshwar Was unexplored so Decided to Take My Bike Out and Head towards Lonavala.

I Left Mumbai Around 6:45 Am Yesterday and reached Mahableshwar at 1:40 Sharp , Covered all the distance in Just 6.5 Hours .

I Was looking for A Hotel With Good Facilities and Market To be Near. I Started Looking For hotels on Various Sites , there was a last Minute offer going on Make my Trip , this Price was a steal Deal of just Rs.550 /-

This Hotel has Got a fantastic View From the room i was staying in, They Have a 3 Storey Hotel which Can easily Accomodate around 50-60 Guest At a Time .

I Got a Hotel Room + Breakfast Package from Hirkani At just 550. i Had one Of the Best Experience , My first Experience in Mahabaleshwar was done Right .

stayed here from 17 jun to 21 jun this year with four friends families .rooms are well maintained and comfortable. the staff is very helpful the food is simply awsome and tasty. they catered for our our choice of food. we had a memorable get togather here.

The place is really good for stay and the staff is really helpful. Food is of great taste and quality. The view from the hotel mesmerizing. The Price is also very reasonable. Would recommend this to everyone.

Room we took is in second floor. Neatly maintained room. Linen and bath towels are neat and fresh. Room is provided with Mini Fridge though we did not use. Balcony views are mixed with Hills and their garden which is in unseason.
Room Service and food is good. Helpful staff. The hotel have their own restaurant on main road and food is good.

Hirkani Garden is not a resort but a hotel. Location is good at Metugad between Panchgani n Mahabaleshwar. My room does not had any view but was good. Cleanliness is maintained properly. Service with smile. The food in d restaurant was excellent. However the complimentary breakfast was limited to few choice and not from the menu. Overall a good experience.
