Stayed at Divan Clarks Inn for 1 week from 26.12.25.
Check in was quick and we were shown to our ‘’Deluxe Room’’ number 211.
First thing we noticed was how small the room was and that there was no balcony, the bathroom was tiny & the bathroom door couldn’t fully open to get in as it touched the sink !
To say its ‘Deluxe’ is very misleading, out of the 8 hotels we stayed in during our visit this was the smallest & most disappointing, we asked to change rooms and were promised another room, but day after day this didn’t happen, so we gave up in the end.
Shower was ok, hot water was always available.
The WIFI was ok throughout the hotel.
The Grounds were ok, theres a large grassed area to the side which is well maintained by the gardener/security guard, it just lacked seating, (there were only 2 small tables and approx. 6 worse for wear chairs which had seen better days)
The Pool is very small and shaded, it could do with a refurb, its situated right next to the restaurant, which isn’t a good location & we didn’t see one person use it during our week there.
The front of the hotel has no kerb appeal whatsoever, scooters & cars were parked here there and everywhere, better organisation is required for the parking as they obstructed the hotel walkway.
The hotel is clean and tidy throughout, no issues there.
The staff are helpful & very attentive.
Breakfast was good and we ate a couple of times in the evening at the hotel, we had the fish from the specials board one night which was pricey & very disappointing, that said all our other meals were excellent, big shout out to the chef Gautam who cooked us some fabulous meals and went the extra mile for us.
The hotel location is good, just a short walk to the beach.
We were the only international tourists at the hotel which surprised me.
Apart from the small room with no balcony our stay was good.
Very Small Room with no blacony (211 next to the lift)
Breakfast was very good and staff were super friendly and helpful
Room was tiny
