Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi

Good sized rooms, in a safe and accessible location, easy for car service and sights. Pleasant staff. Room had a balcony with an amazing view, all the facilities of the room are good, though some space issues in bathroom. This is not a business hotel, so plug sockets, phone charging points are NOT easily accessible in room. F&B - OK, Breakfast can be a little chaotic in either restaurant. Lifts are slow and take time be prepared for queues. Pool area very busy, but pleasant enough for a few days.

Everything about this hotel is amazing!
The staff are lovely and so accommodating. In particular, Rohit and Rahul were our housekeeping staff and nothing was too much trouble for them!
The restaurants all had top quality food and plenty of choices without it being too overwhelming or repetitive!
The whole property was spotless!
The adults only pool was closed a few days into our stay for some refurbishment, however this didn't impact the use or availability of the other pools too much. There is also a private beach which wasn't ever busy, so there wasn't the dreaded rush in the mornings for sunbeds!
Would highly recommend this hotel and am desperate to rebook again for myself!

I recently stayed at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi and while the hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, my experience was a blend of positives and disappointments.

✨ Highlights:

• The hotel is visually stunning and offers a luxurious atmosphere.
• Housekeeping staff were exceptionally hardworking and kept the rooms spotless.
• Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay.


⚠️ Areas for Improvement:

• The poolside bar service was inconsistent, with staff focusing only on guests in the pool area. Those lounging nearby were often overlooked, and drink service was noticeably slow.
• Although the hotel boasts a private beach, there was no drinks service available there, which felt like a missed opportunity.
• The website advertised welcome cold towels and farewell drinks, but neither were offered during my visit.
• After checkout, the level of service dropped significantly. It felt as though guests were no longer a priority.
• Queue management was poor—staff allowed guests to push ahead without addressing the issue, which created a frustrating experience for those waiting patiently.
• During a reservation booking, I was discussing private details with a staff member when another guest entered and remained in the room. The staff did not ask him to wait outside, compromising my privacy.

Everything was good except the state of the swimming pools. About 30% of the tiles are missing on the floor and walls of the swimming pool, ended up with cut feet, hands and arms. For the prices charged for a stay, they could have made use of the slow summer and had the tiles replaced.

The staff could not do enough for you, the attention to detail was incredible, the food was exceptional, loved this hotel and will be going back.

The buffer dinner was the same every night. This became very monotonous. No variation. Cold food.

I really love the elevator from sea side, the view of the pool is so amazing.

I recently stayed at Rixos Abu Dhabi, and my experience was far below expectations. Upon arrival, I was shocked to find that my room was not ready at all – as clearly shown in the attached photos. After raising the issue, I was upgraded to a higher room category, and late check-out was approved.

However, the room key was not activated for elevator access, which resulted in me being stuck in the elevator, going up and down aimlessly until I managed to return to the ground floor.

Overall, this was a dreadful experience. The lack of coordination, poor service, and unprofessionalism are unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed caliber. I would strongly advise against booking this hotel – there are far better options in Abu Dhabi in terms of quality, comfort, and hospitality.

This hotel is suited to Russian families. The atmosphere was not great.
The gym is dark and very masculine, feels intimidating.

I had a wonderful stay at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi! The staff were amazing throughout. Special shoutout to the barman at the adults-only pool (his name starts with R) — his mocktails were incredible and he had such great energy. I really appreciated how accommodating the hotel was for non-alcoholic drinkers. Claude was so kind and helpful with my luggage on the day I left, and the general manager also made time to speak with me, which was such a lovely touch.

The staff at The People’s Restaurant were by far the friendliest — I highly recommend them. Benson, who kindly cleaned my sunglasses by the pool and was always polite, was also fantastic. The private beach is a huge plus — quiet and very relaxing. Rooms were always cleaned to perfection.

Only downsides: I wasn’t allowed to take away my leftover sushi at the Asian restaurant on the 38th floor when I wasn’t feeling well, and it was disappointing to hear it would go in the bin — I shared this feedback with the manager. The only other small issue was the gentleman from the spa who frequently interrupted guests relaxing by the pool to promote treatments — this became a bit much and actually put me off visiting the spa entirely.

Overall, I had an amazing time and will definitely be back. Thank you to the Rixos team for making my stay so special!

Fantastic experience! We spent a nice time at the hotel. Friendly staff, mainly Mr. Ali at the reception, always ready and more than happy to help,and provide any advice related to various areas. Hotel is very clean, facilities are perfect, ready for adults and families, and you can get everything when you chose all inclisive option. We strongly recomend the hotel as excellent property in the heart of Abu Dhabi, right on the private beach with opened ocean and very quick access to the city and all the city attractions.
Just thinking about how to get back asap 🙂

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The amenities exceeded my expectations, and I truly felt welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel to others!
