Pros:

Good breakfast, nice to have a sink and a dishwasher, swimming pool was warm

Right at 930am when people were still eating, they turned the light off. Didn't think it was necessary.

Tolles Hotel
Pros:

Sehr grosses, geräumiges Zimmer mit schönem Bad. Die Lage ist super, um den Algonquin Park zu besuchen.

Cons:

Leider sind die Restaurants und die Stadt erwas weiter entfernt. Rund um das Hotel sind nur Fastfoodketten zu finden.

Overall really good
Pros:

The first morning, there was little breakfast left, it was cold and I wonder if there was a staff shortage .. hate to complain as everything else was really good.
The second morning breakfast had improved but could still be better. We have always stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in many places .. check out their breakfast. Excellent.. we are coming back to stay with you again.. the facilities and staff were excellent..just maybe improve on breakfast pls

Good new hotel
Pros:

It's a new, comfy, and clean hotel. In good location in case you have a car

Cons:

It was super crowded at breakfast because of the holidays, plus the food was pretty basic. There wasn't any hot water, and the coffee should have been available all day but kept running out, even the hot water in the evening.

Lieber auf andere Hotels in der direkten Umgebung ausweichen.

Die Zimmer sind groß

Cons:

Schon beim Check-in war die Mitarbeiterin gestresst und gehetzt, obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste am Empfang waren. Sie gab sich keine Mühe freundlich zu sein und hatte Probleme die Reservierung für das zweite Zimmer zu finden, trotz Vorlage der Pässe und der Buchungsbestätigung in Papier. Wir beschwichtigen sie und betonten „nur die Ruhe“.

Wir hatten wie gesagt zwei Zimmer: bei der Ankunft bei einem Zimmer war die Tür offen, da sie wohl nicht ins Schloss gefallen ist. Das ist ein Sicherheitsrisiko. Ich habe den zufällig anwesenden Herren, vermutlich Vorgesetzter des Reinigungspersonals, darauf hingewiesen. Kommt wohl öfter vor, eine weitere Zimmertür stellte sich zum Zeitpunkt des Check-Outs (seit dem Vorabend) genauso dar. Unverständlich, da die Putzfrau bis zum späten Abend noch auf der Etage gearbeitet hat.

Die Betten quietschen bereits wenn man sich hinsetzt bzw beim Liegen umdreht, sie sind recht wackelig. Gut, wer das Bett für sich alleine hat. Das Mobiliar ist teilweise abgewohnt und gehört sich grundgereinigt und oder ausgetauscht. Die Flecken sprechen für sich: auf dem Teppich in der Empfangshalle, auf dem Schreibtischstuhl, am Vorhang und dem Sofa im Zimmer.

Am Gang war es leise, dafür sind die Fenster jedoch unzureichend lärmisoliert. Da das Hotel in einem belebten, verkehrsreichen Bereich liegt ist davon auszugehen, dass man diesen auch gewissermaßen wahrnehmen muss.

Das Frühstück und das fragwürdige Konzept dahinter; viel zu wenige Sitzplätze für die hohe Anzahl an Gästen. Das Küchenpersonal (ich habe nur eine Person gesehen) kam nicht hinterher das Essen aufzufüllen, geschweige denn den Bereich sauber und ordentlich zu halten. Der Bereich ist viel zu klein wie schon erwähnt, es ist recht umständlich an das Essen ranzukommen. Auch die warmen Speisen sind in Plasticontainern verstaut, das kenne ich nur für Backwaren wie Bagels etc. Die Milch gibt es nur in großen Haushaltsverpackungen, sie stand teils ungekühlt draußen.

Great location and spacious room. Breakfast severely lacking.
Pros:

Friendly staff, great location and good room. The room was well-equipped (except for a kettle!) and was quite spacious for two adults and two children.

Cons:

The breakfast was severely lacking. Having no kettle in the room was also an issue.

Gutes Hotel, 30 Min zu Algonquin NP
Pros:

Schönes grosses Zimmer. Parkplatz vor dem Haus, kostenlos.
Frühstück minimal, Henrietta's Pine Vakery ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Due Guest-Laundery haven wür geschätzt.

Cons:

Vom Frühstück waren wir enttäuscht.
