Gran hotel, solo revisen los cargos por el check in
Pros:

La ubicación sobre todo y la atención de todo el personal en el hotel. Muy amables y serviciales. También las habitaciones son excelentes.

Cons:

En recepción los empleados son abusivos. En el check in me hicieron una retención del valor de la habitación más cien euros de depósito.
Al hacer el check out tenía un adeudo de 90 euros. Y en lugar de tomarlos del primer cargo me hicieron pagarlos nuevamente.
El primer cargo lo tomaron total sin descontar los 100 euros supuestamente de deposito. Es arbitrario porque te roban 100 euros. En un hotel de 5 estrellas no debiera de pasar este tipo de cosas.

Good but not excellent
Pros:

Excellent location, friendly staff at the reception. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

The internet connection was impossible. It was extreme slow (if it worked at all) I was on a business trip and this was terribly frustrating. I arrived on a rather cold day, and the room was freezing. It took a while for the heating to actually heat up the room. Clean but with a few patches here and there all over the bathroom, particularly around the mirrors. The staff at the door would sometimes be helpful, other times you just needed to go ahead and push the door by yourself although they were seating right in front, which felt very awkward. Same goes for greetings. Overall, I didn’t feel like this was a 5 star property. Maybe trying, but not there yet.

UMusic Hotel Madrid has definitely earned its 5 star rating! What a wonderful place to stay.
Pros:

The staff were exceptional - everyone was so kind and friendly. An A+ for hospitality. We loved the music theme -there is an LP lending library (with a turntable you can borrow), and a live theatre right within the hotel (where we saw Cabaret in Spanish). The area is fabulous - within walking distance to so many things.

Cons:

I thought the breakfast buffet, while nice, was quite overpriced. I recommend guests have breakfast at one of the local restaurants.
