Stayed here on as a couple on 3rd December on a room only basis, at a cost of €78.98. The room was tiny with extremely limited space - just enough to shuffle either side of the bed & at the bottom of the bed. There is no storage , other than a shallow recessed area with 3 hangers that when our coats were hung up extruded into the room beside the bed. There are 2 small recessed shelves at the bedside for a phone but not much else. There was absolutely nowhere to leave luggage so we left it on the floor behind the door. The bathroom was very compact. The place was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and towels were soft and fluffy. This is perfectly fine for a 1 night stay and good value. Reception is open 24 hours. Coffee station in the lobby but no restaurant on-site.
Whilst I appreciate it is a budget hotel which explains the small rooms, no kettle etc you would at least expect a level hygiene.
We arrived on Friday, left our bags in the room and headed out into Dublin for the evening.
On returning at the end of the night, we started to get ready to settle down, and on untucking the duvet from under the mattress it was soaking wet.
I then proceed to investigate further and remove the bed sheet to find the mattress was soaked from the previous occupants of the room who had obviously soiled them self’s
The housekeeping had decided to put a water proof mattress topper on the mattress to address this but had failed to realise the fluid went all the way through the mattress so when they touch the duvet an sheets under the mattress they become soaked.
My wife and I felt disgusted and didn’t want to stay in room but due to being Christmas we didn’t have much choice and even considered flying home.
I would like to say though, the night staff were outstanding and couldn’t do enough to help address and apologise.
They couldn’t move use due to being full but got us a brand new mattress, bedding and everything.
This has been my worst experience of a hotel and never left somewhere feeling so dirty and disgusted. If you respect your hygiene and have standards I would avoid EasyHotels if they think this behaviour is acceptable for housekeeping.
Nice hotel with excellent staff and nice location... It's about half an hour from temple bar but since the city is plain it's a really nice walk.. The rooms are small but cozy and clean... I can't stress enough how nice and helpful the staff is.. They're always ready to help you with any situation and give you advice about the best places to go.. The only down that's not a down really, it's that they don't serve meals but as I said, you only need to ask and they will direct you to the best places to visit..
If I ever return I would stay here again..
A special regard to the portuguese employee, she was lovely.. ^^
This hotel is lovely clean and friendly the staff are friendly the other guest are respectful didn’t hear much noise from people coming and going
the rooms are small and there isn’t a wardrobe
But that’s not to bad if you a clean towel you have to ask . The beds are ok I’ve slept on much worse
And there is only one pillow
But I would definitely stay here again as it is in a good location about a 20 minute to the main bars
Paid 184 for a single (double bed room) there was barely enough space left in the room after the double bed filled it, and could here the Tram even though it was on 3rd floow...
I had a great stay at easyHotel Dublin! The customer service was excellent, everyone was friendly and accommodating. A special thanks to Hector, who was especially helpful and made my experience even better. Great value for money and a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!
What a disappointment! Firstly, I'm aware that this is supposed to be budget accommodation, but this wasn't even that. I don't consider €123 to be cheap for a one night room only stay booked in advance on what is traditionally the quietest night of the week for hotels, even in Dublin. Now the rest; the room is tiny, with no storage space whatsoever (one could hang up two coats, that's it), nowhere to put a bag if you don't like leaving it on the floor, the bed is rock hard, the pillows are really thin, almost useless, the TV only has Irish terrestrial channels and the YouTube link doesn't work, there is no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms. Even with a 10am checkout, housekeeping were knocking on our door at 9.15! Poor, very poor. Would definitely not recommend. Only bright part was the two really pleasant young ladies on the front desk.
The room was a bit small. Good staff, Hector was very friendly and helpful. Tesco, spar and Centra is near the hotel. I got a early check in
Whilst the staff were excellent and the shared areas clean and tidy, rooms are not great, just poor design. Simply too basic for still a very high price - beds are hard, rooms impractical, nowhere to put luggage other than on the floor and bathrooms smell of urine. I would not return.
This hotels rooms are too small.
I could not open up my suitcase unless it was on my bed.
The bathroom was entirely too small.
If you are in your 20’s and trying to save money, you can make this work. Otherwise spend a bit more and do not stay here.
These are the new style of economic builds for hotels where they maximize space.
The price was too high for what this was.
The area around it was not even very nice.
The hotel staff was professional and helpful.
I was annoyed they did not clean my room everyday because my bathroom was alway soak from the shower being 1/2 of the bathroom. If you sit on the toilet your feet are in the shower.
It was not far from Guinness and Jameson which was why I chose it.
Excellent and accommodating staff. Clean facilities. Will stay again!
Blood stain on bedding.
Something classed as a 'pillow', had to use the towels as extra padding for pillows.
Questionable stains on curtain.
Clean
Simple, quiet, clean and close to transit and attractions.
Easyhotel is great value but rooms are small with no desk
Located close to Dublin’s centre, very walkable. We enjoyed the restaurants in Stoneybatter. Marina and Marta were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was cosy and clean and we slept really well.
The beds were horrible, it was like punishment! The mattress was thin and you could feel every coil they were like sleeping on wood! The pillows were flat! Then I went down at 5:00 am and they guy told me they were cleaning the coffee tea maker 45 minutes I sat there in my PJ’s never spoke to me did not tell me it would take that long! Then you have to pay for it!
The mattresss was flipped to the wrong side. It was really uncomfortable until we flipped it back the following night.
The pillows are also very flat though the staff did give extra pillows when we asked.
Nice staff and decent location. Very poor quality mattress and room was tiny (even moreso than expected).
Exactly as we needed ideally located Clean, Comfartable, Warm, Quiet, Small, and no mod cons. If u need extra pillows its not a problem. Lovely helpfull Staff. Good Price.
