Şato Apart Hotel

We arrived at the hotel at 2 in the morning, and we left as soon as it cleared a minute. The room was a disaster, the beds had only stretched the sheets and they had the pillows like black animals (I'm not exaggerating) we sat on a chair and put our legs up in our luggage

Room was awful. It was filthy as hell. We had to buy cleaning supplies and clean the room ourselves because it was impossible to live in. The bathroom was the worst. I am not a squeamish person but it was impossible to go in there without slippers (photos number 1 and 2). It just needs a good scrub to get rid of all that filth and mold. Also the shower doesn’t close properly and that’s why bathroom floor is always wet.

We suppose that there were bedbugs inside the big mattress cause after the second night there my parents noticed weird rashes on their limbs and torsos (photo number 3). And later we found stains on the mattress (photo number 4). And the same day staff “cleaned” our room so that it smelled for so long my mom almost had an asthma attack. We suspect them for treating the mattress from bedbugs because it was strange that the staff just happened to clean under the bed whilst we were staying there and not before or after out stay.

Also on our second day there our ac broke down and staff members were telling us that they would fix it but it never happened and we had to spend the next two nights in as hot as sauna room. WI FI speed was slow it never worked. There were no kitchen or kettle or cups or dishes in the room. The fridge was dirty and lacked all the shelves.

The staff. It consists of one man who doesn’t speak english and who couldn’t help us with anything, one man who speaks english and at least tries to help, russian speaking woman and a girl the maid who also speaks no english. On our check out day all staff members besides the maid girl didn’t show up for work they are cowards who refused to face us because they knew that we were gonna tell them everything we thought about their so called hotel.

The location was several kilometers from the places of interest in Fethiye. I did not feel safe in my room. It had a connecting door to another space, which I could not lock from my side but which could be opened from the other side. There was light and noise in the other space half the night.

Honestly, I would have given a zero if I could.
The building is literally falling into pieces. The minimum they can do given the place status, is cleaning it to make it at least livable, but that’s not the case.
The owner started saying that he bought the place one year and a half before, and to let him know in case of any issue.
I cleaned up myself the toilet as I had to use it - there was pee on the seat.
The pillow cover was stained in i don’t really know which kind of human liquid.
We had no mattress linen on the bed.
Both of these two issues were solved after asking to the (true fact) very helpful staff.
Everything else we found is actually not something that can be fixed anyhow in a short time, you can find the details in the pictures.
Plus, the curtains were made out of old broken blankets and the room was actually in the basement.
Wifi works only in the reception area.
At check out, we found out we couldn’t pay with credit card as owner said: “I don’t believe in banks”. He refused to use Booking for the payment.
This actually looked more like a tv reality show based on horrific hotels rather than a stay in a basic accommodation.
Recommendation to anyone thinking to stay here: please, don’t.

The rooms are dated, but for the price they are amazing value for money. Would definitely return!
