Castle Hotel mainly good experience with a few niggles.
Pros:

Friendly, very helpful staff, clean comfortable room.
Good continental breakfast.

Cons:

No secure luggage store, unable to leave cases for an hour or so after key drop off before our train time. Although luggage store was mentioned in information. No reception staff in the morning and front door locked after guests leave after 10am until the hotel/bar opening time.

Suited us for a brief overnight stay
Pros:

Only had continental breakfast which was perfectly adequate. Didn't have dinner. Ensuite was excellent in our room. Looked like a recent refurbishment. Surprised that there were no toiletries.

Cons:

No Shower gel and shampoo. It was a Saturday night. We were advised that there would be a singer until 10.30 but loud music continued for another hour.

Angenehmes Hotel in guter Lage

Oljud i badrumsfläkt. Otrevligt bemötande då banken strulade med betalning.

The Castle Hotel Berwick
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and well appointed.
It was a nice touch that a member of the team knocked on your door in the morning just to ask if you needed anything.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The location is second to none.

Cons:

Can't fault anything. A little on the expensive side maybe although it is peak season.

Brilliant - booked up to stay over the bank holiday
Pros:

Location of the hotel is excellent. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We had the continental breakfast - there was plenty to choose from. We often go to Berwick and throughly enjoy staying at the Castle.
