Disappointing I don't recommend.
Pros:

The breakfast the second morning was good, properly cooked fresh food. Bed and room were ok.the staff were trying their best but were obviously overworked.

Cons:

The hotel was VERY noisy, on the Saturday night there was a party with live band playing till 1am right beneath my room. The bed was actually vibrating along with the bass it was awful.

It was just ok
Pros:

The room was clean enough and the bed comfortable, great shower. Nice welcome on checking in with recommendations for dining. The cooked breakfast was lovely. Handy location for the railway station, long walk down hill into town though.

Cons:

The sink in the bathroom was cracked, the plug didn't work meaning water just drained away. I didn't expect to be having my breakfast while being begrudged every mouthful by the dogs at the next table, nor to have to keep stepping over them to go to the breakfast room area. No lift and no offer of help with luggage.

Comfortable and clean
Pros:

Room was clean and bright. The flat is spacious and bathroom is a good size with both bath and big shower.

Cons:

Old building with no lift … not suitable for carrying luggage or indeed anyone not great on their feet.

Pros:

The hotel is centrally located. The old town is within easy walking distance. The train and bus stations are in the immediate vicinity. Ideal for an overnight stay on the way to Scotland.

Cons:

The continental breakfast was rather basic. An English breakfast was offered upon request, but charged extra. The smell in the room was unpleasant. The generator outside the window was very loud.

Next to the station, buses and lovely walks to the river. Wonderful views from the room over the station, seeing the trains coming and going and the river Tweed with a good sunset. Helpful staff. Meals available including sunday lunch.
Room was very quiet.

Cons:

Water wasn't hot so no shower but staff said in the morning there was a boiler problem.

Very nice place to stay in Berwick for a family.
Pros:

The property was extremely close to the train station, only a minute walk away. It was also near High Street and the bus stop to get to Spittal Beach. We booked a family room for two adults one child it was large and spacious, we only stayed one night, but could’ve stayed there longer.

Cons:

Breakfast choices adequate, but not exceptional.
One front desk attendant was extremely friendly and helpful and even let us check in sooner than we stated because our room was ready.
