A lot of time wasted resolving issues with the key cards. The rooms, however, were all clean and comfortable.
Pros:

The hotel is in the heart of Bankstown, so its location is great. The rooms were very clean. The showers had good pressure. The beds were comfortable. Staff were lovely.

Cons:

The hotel doesn’t have parking on-site. Check-in was done by a trainee which took much longer than it should have. Not all rooms had a fridge. There is no lift, and the accommodation is upstairs above the pub, so the rooms are not accessible. When there is an issue with the room you have to walk into the pub or sports bar downstairs to speak with a staff member or manager. There is no landline to call housekeeping. There is no after hours service once the sports bar closes, so if you are locked out of your room after 4am there’s no way of getting into your room. We kept getting locked out of our room because of the faulty key card door system. Hence we were always up and down trying to reactivate key cards. When no cards, including the housekeeper’s card, worked in the end, we were offered another room only to have the same issue arise again. We were back downstairs in the smoky sports bar late at night getting a new battery for the television controls in the new room. The shower in the new room had no shelf so our products had to sit on the shower floor which wasn’t draining efficiently.
