The location in the Tam Chuc pagoda complex is sublime, offering peace, tranquility, spiritual support and beauty from both the natural surroundings and the temple buildings.
The room was spacious, comfortable and clean.
The breakfast and dinner were good.
However, all the above was undermined by the hotel deciding to allow a coach-load of visitors to arrive at midnight and then hold a karaoke party at full volume in the foyer area for an hour, making rest and sleep impossible.
This is the most inappropriate setting imaginable for such behaviour.

The buddhist pagoda complex is huge, the temples are massive and the views are stunning. Staffs english is poor and WIFI is limited so be prepared on improvising if your vietnamese language skills are poor. Kitchen is very basic so even if there is a menu card it is not sure if they can prepare it, same with breakfast. Nevertheless was this one of our highlights of our 3 week Vietnam holidays. So prepare your taxi that the hotell is located within the complex, there are 3 guard stations that will send away cars, so be determined. Lights at the temples close 20.00 (8 pm) so after dinner you will have the place for your own!

Really fabulous place to stay. Right among the temples and allows access when the tourists have gone home. Staff were super friendly, rooms were very clean and comfortable with a lovely view. Can't recommend it enough. Truly special experience.
Loved it so much we stayed longer so I could have my birthday there. Really special place and staff.

The site is amazing and staying at the hotel makes it possible to be alone on the site early in the morning and late afternoon...
The hotel is very nice but not very soundproof so if there is a loud group in one of the reception halls (like I had) you will hear everything in your room !
But the first night (without a group) was perfect !
We are happy with our stay. Room temperature control works, hot water comes right out no waiting. Room is big and very clean. Right in the middle of the pagoda and we were able to roam around all day!!!
Tam Chuc complex is such a lovely place to stay. It was very quiet when we stayed and a couple of evenings we were the only ones in the restaurant. The staff were very good at trying to understand us and Google translate helped so much. The rooms are very spacious and the reception girls were so lovely. The actual pagoda was amazing and so beautiful. We were lucky to see it first thing in the morning and last thing at night. The temples are stunning. We had a beautiful tea ceremony and the girl was brilliant and even let us make some tea. We really enjoyed that. The breakfast was lovely as well. You can go out on a boat trip to a couple of islands. Great trip across the lake.
The location within the temple complex is totally amazing and unique. Get up before sunrise and walk around. You‘re alone and can enjoy this peaceful and beautiful place.
No restaurant open in the evening. Staff could be a bit friendlier and more helpful.
