Sleep was impossible due to noise, but management honored their guarantee with a full refund.
Pros:

The location is perfect for the Marigny and French Quarter. Most importantly, the General Manager, Brandie, acted with great integrity. When the stay was disrupted, she honored the Hampton 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and issued a full refund. Excellent corporate accountability.

Cons:

Significant noise disturbances from the adjacent room and hallway over two nights. The walls/doors provided very little sound insulation. As the hotel was full, a room change was not possible.

Great stay! Will stay here again.
Pros:

Great location! Just a few blocks from the streetcar that gets you everywhere. It’s also just a block from Frenchman’s Street- so you can see great music. The balcony room was up front which was fun to people watch.
Great breakfast- eggs and meat plus potatoes and the waffles etc. plus they keep refilling it so you can show up at 9:30 and still have a selection.
Extra comfortable bed especially the pillows. Clean room and nice staff.
