Friendly front desk staffs and super clean room! They provide simple items like Q-tips and facial cream. We love the 2-bedroom layout. It has a kitchen, washer and dryer combo unit next to the kitchen, and an oversized dining table for our meals and also laundry folding. We love the tub next to the shower design. We have two kids so one of them can enjoy the bath while the other one is taking a shower. It was our home for 5 days before leaving Japan. The location is great! It’s a short walk to Senso-Ji and the shopping street at the front. Ekimise shopping is next door where they have a good selection of restaurant on the top floor and you can see Tokyo tree from their rooftop for free. Ichiran Ramen is nearby if you need a good late night meal.
The property is facing a bigger street and there was a sconstruction going on at the building next door when we were there in August 2026. There is a smoking room next to the elevator on the first floor. It’s an enclosed room but you smell it when you walk in and out of the elevator to get to your room.

Staff, location, and facilities were great. Very close to the Asakusa station- 5-10 minute walk depending on which line you were using. 5-10 minute walk to Senso-Ji Temple and numerous restaurants- we took all of our dinners in the neighborhood and were never spoiled for choice (and all were excellent). Asakusa neighborhood is a very good blend of locals and tourists (if you're a Westerner like we are). Staff were extrememly helpful in making booking with restaurants that didn't speak English (which were many, though it was never an issue).
Thermostat wasn't easy to control. We were comfortable 95% of the time during a severe heatwave, but there were times when the heat generated by the very-necessary humidifier made the room slightly warmer than we'd have liked (though never outright uncomfortable). We never reached out to the desk for help with this, though I'm sure if we had they'd have been up to help very quickly.

Disappointed in room amenities, felt very cramped and outdated, layout was odd with a single toilet located right next to the door and everyone could hear everything. Not at all private. We had a 2 bedroom suite and was extremely disappointed in what we got for what we paid.
Sublime location, gorgeous suite, and attention to detail just keep you feeling sure you made the right choice to stay at thee Mimaru Suites in Asakusa.
Neither of our 2 bedrooms had a clear or dedicated space to unpack or organize clothes. We had to leave (check in) luggage on the floors and navigate around them and the beds which was tricky and left us missing a proportionate feeling of a more fully ‘moved in’ comfort given the rest of the well thought out amenities.
Fine , rummelige lejligheder med rigtig god beliggenhed tæt på stationen og midt i Asakusa hvor der er masser af restauranter og liv, men stadig roligt og stille. Dejligt med to badeværelser og køkkenfaciliteter. Gode senge. Meget hjælpsomt personale.
