Eintauchen in eine noch nicht touristisch voll erschlossene Welt inmitten des Regenwaldes.
Pros:

Grossartiger Service. Das Personal extrem um die Gäste bemüht. 2x tägliches Make-up von Zimmer und Bett. Sehr saubere und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer.

Cons:

Tortuguero ist ein Dorf mit sehr viel Armut, eihergehend mit Schmutz und Müll, alles in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zum Hotel.

Very good place to stay.
Pros:

The people are great. Very efficient, friendly and helpful. Huge room. Comfortable bad and good bedding/mattress. Food is copious and delicious. There’s a colony of Montezuma Oropendolas nesting only metres away. Wonderful to see.

Cons:

The town is busier than expected. The only way to control the shower is to reach very high. Only 3 settings:- extremely hot, too hot, cold. You couldn’t reach the control unless you are over 6’.

Fantastic stay, great wildlife and exceptional staff.
Pros:

Right in the heart of Tortuguero but very quiet with wildlife all around. Boat free access to the trails and restaurants. Easy to walk to the turtle sanctuary even though it was the wrong time of year for us. Staff were exceptional and even washed and dried our clothes and provided wellies and ponchos for the walks. Evening meal with a glass of wine was exceptional value and delicious. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the friendly staff never stopped cleaning. The receptionist even took one of the guests to hospital as they were unwell during their stay. Even though the trips were more expensive, they were well worth the price as we considered that Jonnie gave us an individual VIP tour of the area and wildlife. Fantastic knowledge. Cooper had great communication with us before our stay and organised the parking at La Pavona and boat transport. Can’t recommend them enough and have never stayed in a hotel like this before.

Très bon hôtel, chambre propre et spacieuse. Le lit est confortable. Il y a tout les équipements présents, ainsi qu un coin cuisine. Très pratique. Le personnel était très gentil, très aimable. Nous avons passé un bon séjour et le petit dej était bon et copieux

Séjour agréable avec quelques déceptions quant au rapport qualité prix.

Nous avons apprécié la situation dans tortuguero même. Hôtel confortable. Bon petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Les erreurs lors des commandes de petits déjeuners. Notre chambre pas nettoyée lors de notre retour à 15h!!!

Wundervoller Aufenthalt im Hotel Serendipity, Tortuguero

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Serendipity war von Anfang bis Ende großartig. Die Anreise war hervorragend organisiert, inklusive bewachtem Parkplatz und anschließender Bootsfahrt. Vor Ort wurden wir herzlich empfangen und unser Gepäck wurde direkt übernommen.
Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich, das Bett bequem und alles äußerst sauber. Wir hatten All-Inclusive gebucht und waren vom Essen begeistert – individuell zubereitet, sehr flexibel und auch vegetarische Wünsche wurden problemlos berücksichtigt.
Die im Hotel gebuchten Aktivitäten, darunter eine private Bootstour und eine private Führung durch den Nationalpark (Grüße an Jonny), waren tolle Erlebnisse mit sehr kompetenten Guides. Ein großes Lob gilt auch dem unglaublich freundlichen Serviceteam (Grüße an Saray) sowie der großartigen Köchin.
Ein besonderes Highlight war die liebevolle Geburtstagsüberraschung für meine Frau. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
