Excellent family stay
Pros:

The room was a good size, very clean and tidy. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Tea and coffee in the room would have been nice. I also found the luggage transport system a bit time consuming with needing a login to Mimaru

An excellent choies for travelers who prefer to stay in a more "houselike" accommodation
Pros:

Rooms are larger than the Japan norm. Full kitchen and multiple bathrooms were very convenient for our family of 4. We really liked the mini house style accommodations versus a plain room with just a bed and bath. We often would bring home food and drinks from the many convenience stores nearby and have a private meal or snack at our leisure. Location is off the beaten path while still being close enough to walk to Ikebukuro's tourist attractions without much effort. Ikebukuro train station is just a leisurely 10 minute walk away or around 6 minutes at a brisk pace.

Cons:

The only thing I didn't care for personally was that the beds felt extra firm but if you like firm you are all set. Note: there are no ice machines on property so either you will have to make your own with the provided ice trays in the freezer or pick some up from the many convenience stores nearby.
