We had a great 4 night stay. Would recommend for people interested in staying in Ikebukero. 5-7 mins walk to the station
Pros:

We loved the large room with the dining room, kitchen facilities and loved having a chance to make some breakfast or light meals.
Comfy beds and blockout blinds. We used the laundry facilities which worked well.
Friendly staff.

Cons:

The location was good if you are interested in staying in Ikebukuro, we enjoyed it but would try a different Mimaru location in Tokyo next time.

Pros:

Staff were wonderful, had a program running that you could earn prizes with photos taken, good access to laundry facilities and kitchen facilities, location, cleanliness.

Cons:

Quite expensive compared to our other accommodation locations in Japan, very cold and windy outside of room (room doors lead to outside)

Great hotel for big families!
Pros:

The staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were spacious, clean, and I loved that it had a living room with the kitchen/ washer/dryer. I like that they provided different things like pajamas, various tea options. They also had kids/family activities but we forgot to check them out. The hotel is a short walk away from the food vendors and train stations but it's tucked in a more quiet area so our room was not noisy at all.

Cons:

The bed could be a bit more comfortable.
