Lovely stay
Pros:

​The staff were absolutely wonderful and very welcoming! However, the soundproofing wasn't great—you can easily hear the street noise and people in the hallways. As for breakfast, I expected an open buffet, but it turned out to be an à la carte menu where you choose your items. On the bright side, their coffee was excellent!

Cons:

I booked this accommodation nine months in advance. Only upon arrival was I informed that I was overbooked. In other words, someone who booked that same day got the room I reserved nine months earlier. The alternative offered was an old hotel with dirty carpet. They were not even aware of my arrival. No compensation was offered either.

I booked this hotel 8 months in advance. Only upon arrival was I told that they had overbooked me and that I had to go to another hotel. In other words, someone who booked that very day got the room I had booked 8 months in advance. I received no compensation. I was sent to an old hotel with dirty carpet. A totally different style. I hate those kinds of hotels and would never choose them.

I had a horrible experience, I found out when I arrived at JKIA that the hotel I booked last yr December if fully booked, I was moved to another horrible hotel downtown, where I couldn't sleep, the hotel was not in good condition, too much noise, I couldn't sleep yet I was tired. I had to fought them following day in order to be moved to the hotel I initially booked, it was not bad in terms of cleanliness. But the service was extremely poor.

Good for a one night stay
Pros:

For a one night stay it wasn't bad. The restaurant food was really good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

It was very noisy - street noise 14 floors below was really loud throughout the night. The secure door to get into the hallway to access the room banged really loudly whenever anyone came in or went out during the night.

A wonderful 3-night stay - comfortable, cozy, and pleasantly memorable.
Pros:

The breakfast was great, tasty potato wedges, wonderful Spanish omelette, great service by friendly and professional staff (like Zamzam, Wahida, great cooks, etc), lovely experience from the 13th floor with a great view of Central Business area of Nairobi. Location was superb, many restaurants and cafes in the area, shopping malls, etc. Good security protocols in place.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind, aside from the minor noise from pavement renovations along the roadside. It’s only temporary and will be finished soon, so it’s certainly not a big concern.
