If I was to list anything (which is a struggle) my only comment would be the absence of utensils in the room, considering there’s a sink etc
Don Rafa was beautiful! The breakfast area was gorgeous in the main lobby/bar area. The room was much larger than anticipated and very comfortable.
The location is an easy drive from the airport. There is valet parking with attendants who are very nice. The hotel is unique and very beautiful-like a little jewel. The staff is very polite and accommodating. Our bed and room was extremely comfortable and clean. The staff stored our suitcases while we checked out and explored San Juan for a while. We took Ubers to Old San Juan. We were told the hotel is about 2 miles away from Downtown San Juan.
Please make sure there is a nightstand to both sides of the bed.
Although the breakfast was very good, there were not enough sitting spaces to accommodate all the guests and the staff did not assist with this. The room seemed to clear out while I was eating so perhaps this is not much of a problem.
The room was very nice with good facilities. The hotel reception was very nice and the complimentary breakfast was welcomed. The swimming pool area was well kept and the views were very nice from the rooftop bar and pool.
We were located on the ground floor and the acoustics were terrible. It felt like everybody entering the hotel or in the bar was directly outside our door. The bartenders cocktail shaking was particularly loud and annoying making it impossible to sleep. Would strongly advise against having a room on the ground floor!

I love the beautiful decor of the hotel. It was very clean and it always smelled very nice and it was pretty close to the airport.
what I did not like about the property was the continental breakfast. The staff during breakfast had a very nasty attitude and disposition. Also, I didn’t like how the rooftop was closed Monday and Tuesdays. They should put that in the website so you don’t book your room on those days also I did not like how the pool closed at 7 PM. I think the pool should not close until 11 so that way you can have time to hang out and I also didn’t like that. They did not have a sauna or hot tub at the pool. They didn’t have very much to do at all in the hotel itself. The hotel was beautiful, but no entertainment at all whatsoever and then I did not like that. They charge for parking the hotel itself is already pricey. I think everything should’ve been included with the price that they were charging for this hotel. I think it’s very overpriced

Prachtig hotel, zeer gezellig aangekleed.
The property was unique and had a lot of character. There was art on the walls and I loved the way the building was designed. The breakfast was good. I loved that you can’t get into the building without a room card. It was located by a grocery store and restaurants and a short walking distance from the beach.
Well this is t their fault but the elevator broke. They were apologetic and it wasn’t that big of an inconvenience.
Very well located, this boutique hotel stylish hotel has fantastic offerings: minutes walk or uber to beach, restaurants, OSJ, etc. , cool unique vibe, rooftop lounging pool, very clean spaces, comp breakfast and very friendly professional staff. Beautiful interiors and fun art.
The gym space was too small for more than 2-3 people to work out and the breakfast offerings were a bit basic

Everyone was very friendly. Alicia at the front desk was exceptional in remembering everyone’s name in our party. The bartender made a great expresso martini.
Bathroom sink was extremly small. Lighting was terrible in the bathroom. Bathroom fan that went on with the light was noisy.
