Overall, the hotel and its location exceeded our expectations. The hotel's aesthetics and layout were beautiful and thoughtfully designed, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The staff was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel.
I cannot fault the Ambasador. Modern, comfortable rooms with floor to ceiling picture windows, friendly and helpful staff (front desk and in the restaurant) and a magnificent pool overlooking the sea and city of Split. The breakfast was also very good with fresh cooked eggs, fresh squeezed juice and a nice selection of fruit. I would definitely stay again if income back to Split and I will recommend it to all of my friends.

Wonderful location just steps from riva and Diocletian palace. The hotel restaurant was excellent.
The overall experience from check in to through out our stay until check out was exceptional. The staff were all kind, especially the ladies at front desk, Roko who assisted us with our luggage and wifi and Doris who works at the spa. Oh and the cleaning personnel!!! We wanted to extend our trip but unfortunately they were fully booked! But of course they would be!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay. Everyone from management to housekeeping was incredible. The housekeeper looking after my room was especially wonderful and took such great care of me. The hotel itself is amazing, and all the facilities are top‑notch. 😁

I booked a specific twin bed room with the agency and confirmed in writing.
The hotel later said they could not confirm twin rooms as these were at a premium price higher than the “ double “ I had paid for
Even though the agency I booked through offered me a twin which I reserved there was now doubt that I would be put in such a room
I was told that perhaps nearer the time we would be confirmed in a twin if availability was still there which is a big gamble I’m not prepared to take so reluctantly had to cancel the whole booking which is very frustrating given that they are still offering twin rooms on booking.com !!
