Great overnight stay
Pros:

We had visited the Black Country Museum and West Midland Safari park. The hotel was a great location. We loved the style of the hotel, our room was the Mayfair which was decorated superbly. The breakfast menu was fantastic, we both really enjoyed. Staff were fantastic with us, would highly recommend.

Would never ever book here again
Pros:

At 1pm on 27/12 we arrived to find the front door locked, spoke in speaker to be told room not ready until 3pm and switched off. Good job we hadn’t let taxi leave because it was freezing cold and we had nowhere to go, it felt unsafe to hang around, we didn’t feel safe - we had booked two rooms. Later found someone was cleaning room but yet wouldn’t come to open door for us. We had to find somewhere else and no refund was given for the two rooms. Attitude not helpful

Pros:

I had another fantastic stay! The lady at the reception and bar was extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was perfect as always, and I’ll definitely be back on my next trip.

Fantastisch eten, de Indiase curry is een aanrader! Om je vingers bij op te eten.
Ontbijt heerlijk, veel aandacht aan besteedt evenals het diner.
Hele lieve gastvrouw, Maria, die je meer dan welkom doet voelen.
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf hier en komen graag nog eens terug. Een dikke 10!!!!

Pros:

The hostess, Maria, does everything possible to make sure your everything wish is fulfilled. She is charming and attentive and thoroughly authentic, so that you can only be thankful that you chose her hotel.
The rooms are carefully and tastefully decorated and adequately comfortable.

Cons:

The ground floor room I stayed was somewhat thin-walled, so that you could hear most goings on in the reception/restaurant area and hallway.
It also smelt somewhat stale.

Pros:

The hotel is beutiful and really well maintained. The girl who keeps the whole thing running so smoothly is Maria. She is a credit to herself AND the hotel owners.

I wouldn’t stay again as it just isn’t worth the money.
Pros:

The lady working at the property was very nice and welcoming, also couldn’t do enough to help!

Cons:

Property was very overpriced for the room and facilities, I thought it would be more premium for the price, bed sheets had small stains and furniture in the bathroom holding towels was loose and poor quality. You could hear a lot of noise from upstairs and reception.
