Ljubljana Capsule Hostel

Olisin kaivannut kylmä-säilytystä ja vedenkeitintä, mutta se on pieni asia.

Ei ilmastointia, jouduimme nukkumaan ovi auki sillä kapselissa loppui happi. Tämä oli epämiellyttävää ja ei tullut sellainen olo, että tavarat turvassa. Henkilökunta ei reagoinut asiaan, eikä heitä tavoittanut viestitise. Emme saaneet ohjeita etukäteen vaan jälkikäteen whatsappissa kun soitimme seisoskeltuamme ovella ihmettelemässä. Lisäksi kuulimme jälkikäteen, että hostellissa oli luteita.

The pod itself is fine but if you have more than one backpack it’s a struggle to fit it in one small closet. We had 2 bags as we are backpacking and it was a struggle to fit them and then go through our bags as it was small and tight fit with everyone else in the room too

La chaleur, pas de climatisation dans les chambres. Aucune insonorisation. Nuits horribles

ACHTUNG: dieses Hostel ist von BETTWANZEN befallen und das schon seit einigen Wochen. Es scheint so als würde das Hostel auch nichts dagegen unternehmen!

Det var tynne madrasser og dårlig lydisolert. Jeg hadde to bookinger i 2 ulike kapsler. Den ene var det god luft i, den andre ikke. Her ble det altfor varmt og dårlig luft, da aircondition kun var utenfor rommet. Den andre var det god, nesten for god aircon, her ble det faktisk så kaldt at jeg måtte kle på meg en genser å sove i.
Det som trekker mest ned; jeg glemte klokka mi i kapselen, tok kontakt med host og ba om å få den tilsendt. Det værste er ikke at han ikke sendte den, men at jeg fikk null respons på etterspørselen. Jeg purret også etter svar, men fikk det ikke. Det er for dårlig

Attention, nous avons eu des punaises de lit dans notre capsule (n°3) dans la nuit du 11 au 12 juillet 2026 !! Ça a gâché notre fin de séjour en Slovénie.

No where to sit or cook, even make a cup of tea. You just get your capsule to sleep in. It didn't really feel like a hostel. Location felt slightly dodgy walking back at night, but it was near enough to city centre.

Le seul petit inconvénient est que, comme dans tout hébergement capsule, on entend les allées et venues des autres voyageurs. Pensez à emporter des bouchons d’oreilles pour passer une nuit encore plus paisible.

My main complaint concerns the air conditioning. I could barely sleep during my three-night stay and, unfortunately, left with a cold.

Upon my arrival, the air conditioning was set to 17°C. That wouldn't normally be an issue if there were a proper blanket available. However, only a very thin sheet was provided. Since it was summer, I had only packed light clothing, leaving me heavily exposed to the cold, dry air. Furthermore, the air conditioning remote control is located in the staff area, so guests cannot adjust the temperature themselves.

I spoke to the staff and asked for a blanket because I was very cold at night. Unfortunately, there were no extra blankets; I was merely offered the option of having the air conditioning set to 20°C. While that was an improvement, it was still too cold for me, as my bed was positioned directly beneath the unit.

I know that I am sensitive to air conditioning. Nevertheless, I believe that shared accommodation should offer extra blankets, given that guests have different needs. This would allow those who prefer a cool room temperature to use the air conditioning, while others could cover up more warmly if desired.

Apart from that, my stay was pleasant: everything was clean, and the staff were friendly. I did find the accommodation a bit expensive, though that likely reflects the general pricing situation in Europe right now.
