The check-in was delayed by two hours, and the general manager did nothing to resolve the issue. The room is extremely noisy: every time someone in the adjacent room uses the bathroom or flushes the toilet, everything can be heard. The view from the room is depressing. It is not possible to open the window, and the hotel is very noisy overall.

Schönes Boutique Hotel aber viel zu optimieren
Pros:

Die Dachterrasse war sehr schön am Abend, das Pool auch.
Das Hotel war sauber
Das Frühstück auch sehr lecker und auch das Dinner, aber die Speisekarte reicht nicht für 5 Tage

Cons:

Um das Hotel herum wird gebaut - die Aussicht von Zimmer ist nicht schön
Das Personal auch an der Rezeption spricht sehr schlecht englisch ( mit wenigen Ausnahmen) - gut, wenn man ein bisschen spanisch kann
Wir hatten 5 Tage gebucht und wollten ein schöneres Zimmer - da war keine Bereitschaft
Die Abstimmung zwischen Hotel und Restaurant klappt noch nicht gut

Für ein Boutique Hotel fehlt es an vielen Stellen und am Flair, kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Schöne Dachterrasse, freundliches Personal im Restaurant, gutes Frühstück (allerdings nicht enthalten), gutes Restaurant (wenn es geöffnet hat, kleine Karte)

Cons:

Zimmer sehr klein, insgesamt schon etwas abgenutztes Mobiliar, als wir angekommen sind wurde uns ein Welcome Drink versprochen, da der Barkeeper nicht da war, gab es doch keinen, Restaurant nur am Wochenende abends geöffnet, deshalb war auch die Bar meistens geschlossen, leider hat das Personal kaum englisch gesprochen, zwar bemüht, aber die Kommunikation bei Fragen war schwer, Pool insgesamt sauber, aber nur zwei Liegen, benutzte Handtücher wurden bis zum nächsten Tag nicht aufgeräumt, etwas weit weg vom Zentrum, direkt neben mehreren Baustellen, Weg in die Stadt nicht schön zum Laufen

Nice hotel in the northern part of Merida
Pros:

This is a great hotel to stay, especially if you prefer to be close to the northern area of Merida. It’s basically a 13 minute walk to the center but you save at least 20 minutes if you want to go further north by car vs staying in the center. The food at the restaurant is incredible. The rooms are well appointed even if without much of a view. AC and shower work perfectly.

Cons:

Reception should improve communication when hosting private events at the rooftop. After a very tiring (and hot) day I could’ve used that swimming pool… Also, no breakfast buffet. Be advised that during summer restaurant closes at 16:00 (!)

Joli boutique hôtel. Bien situé dans Mérida. Moderne, proche Paséo Montejo. La direction est très attentive au bien être de ses clients.

Cons:

Bruyant le soir quand il y a un événement sur le roof top. Bruyant le matin lorsque le chantier sur l’arrière démarre et que votre chambre donne sur l’arrière. Chambres très petites.

Absolutely incredible stay at Hotel Sureno! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pros:

I had the most amazing time at this gem of a hotel! 😍 From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family. Andrea, Liz, Edgar, and Sam - you are all absolutely awesome and went above and beyond to make my stay perfect! 🙌

The food was absolutely delicious - every meal was a treat! 🍽️✨ But what really stole my heart were those magical moments in the hammock on the rooftop and by the pool, watching the most breathtaking sunsets. Pure paradise! 🌅🏊‍♀️

I absolutely loved every second of my stay here and I'm already planning my return trip! This place has that special something that makes you never want to leave.

Pros:

I had a good experience at Hotel Sureno. The rooftop is really nice with the pool and the restaurant is good.
The hotel is 20mins walks from the city center which is perfect !
