We loved this place made so many friends and good memories

Her må man være klar over at stranden er totalt ubrukelig pga ekstrem langgrunne! Ellers er luksusleilighetene helt ok med eget svømmebasseng. Det er imidlertid ikke den hyggeligste betjeningen, og engelskkunnskapene hos flere av de ansatte er helt fravær. Det var også et svært høyt depositum som måtte betales ved ankomst, 3000 baht. Området rundt er skittent og har svært lite å tilby.

Everything was perfect. From the location, to the quality of the amenities, and -specially, including the staff over there. I will ALWAYS return to this location whenever I visit Phangan again (which now I plan on doing often).

Had a comfortable stay. Room had basic amenities and the pool was nice with a good view. Had some mosquitos and small lizard in bathroom but that was expected since it is a bungalow. Overall, would come back.

Une villa magnifique, mais un accueil décevant

Nous avons séjourné dans une villa en bord de plage, et vraiment, le cadre était superbe. La villa était magnifique, très bien équipée et décorée avec goût – rien à redire à ce niveau-là.

En revanche, l’accueil laisse à désirer. La personne qui semble gérer l’établissement n’est ni souriante, ni agréable. Elle donne l’impression que notre présence la dérange, et si on ne la salue pas, elle ne fait même pas l’effort de le faire. Cela crée une ambiance assez froide, ce qui est dommage pour un lieu aussi beau.

Le reste du personnel est plutôt gentil, mais ne parle pas anglais, ce qui rend la communication compliquée.

Concernant le petit déjeuner (à payer en supplément), nous avons été très déçus. Ce n’est pas un buffet, mais quelques options à la carte, très limitées. On a droit à un café (comme celui disponible gratuitement dans les chambres) et un œuf… pas très généreux ni savoureux. Franchement, mieux vaut économiser et aller prendre un bon petit déjeuner ailleurs.

En résumé : le lieu est magnifique, surtout les villas en bord de plage, mais l’accueil et le service ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur.

Absolutely amazing stay here, we cannot fault it! The bamboo bungalow was perfect, the bed was really comfy, the outside area was so lovely to chill in on an evening. The food that’s cooked by the owner ( I think) is amazing, so nice and so good for the money. The pool is great, and the little beach too. The decorations around the area is so nice lots of greenery and lights! This stay was our favourite out of the whole of our travels and such good value for money! I cannot recommend this enough and you have to stay here!!! Thank you so much again

Gute Lage, gepflegte Anlage, direkt am Meer. Frühstück war sehr einfach, keine Auswahl! Es hieß entweder oder …! Wir haben uns dann selbst versorgt. Zimmerreinigung muss immer einen Tag vorher angemeldet werden, sonst kommt keiner. Ansonsten nettes Personal.

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at the absolute beachfront resort. We stayed in the delux bungalow just off the beach and it was our favourite hotel we’ve stayed at in Thailand.

If you’re looking to enjoy island life with a coconut in your hammock, then look no further. Our room was only a few meters from the beach and sitting out on the balcony watching the waves. The rooms were clean, the aircon worked well, showers had hot water and the bed was super comfy.

The pool is also really clean and we spent many afternoons relaxing in the sun. Food is reasonably priced in the restaurant as well.

A small touch that would have made our experience even better is providing a hairdryer.

Charmant endroit si ce n etait des bungalows banbous vetustes coincés entre une mini plage et la route bruyante, literie tres mole , salle de bain avec des robinets jamais nettoyés, bref apres un accueil froid et un des taxis voleurs , je dois deconseiller cette ile.

Opholdet på hotellet var absolut ikke hvad min partner og jeg havde i tankerne. Til check-in bliver vi mødt at et super uangageret personale der virker som om de ikke gider at have besøgende. Vi får vores værelse med huller i væggen og en dør der ikke kan lukkes - som vil sige at vi fik en del besøg af kryb og gekkoer både dag og nat. Derudover bliver der ikke rengjort på værelset, da man selv skal gå ned i receptionen og bede om det først. Dette gjorde vi og da vi kom hjem sen eftermiddag/aften fandt vi alt personale siddende i receptionen (hvor de sad hele ugen) og havde nu glemt at gøre rent. Efter blev sengelinned skiftet til "nyt", bestemt ikke nyt i vores øjne, da der stadig var brune streger på hovedpuder og betræk. Om aftenen kan man høre alt larm fra alle fester rundt om hotellet, da væggene ikke er isoleret, som gør det svært at sove. Derudover fandt vi orme i toilettet, her desværre ingen billeder da man ikke tænker over det klokken 03 om natten. Da vi så går ned til receptionen, som vi sågar havde gjort hver dag siden vi ankom og fortalte dem om vores ophold, blev vi mødt at råben og derefter ignorering af os imens de pakkede ned og gik hjem. Sidste dag havde vi intet vand i hanen eller bruseren, her super heldigt at vi tjekkede ud en time efter. Alt i alt dårlig oplevelse hele vejen igennem og ville ikke anbefale dem.

Great place to stay. Beach is clean, calm water, great pool, great service. And by far the softest bed I’ve slept on in koh Phangan

Extrem schönes resort, nettes Personal und insgesamt einfach perfekt

We booked the seaview villa and WOW is all I can say.Perfect choice.The area that this resort is in is quiet but does have restaurants and mini marts,massage and travel shops all around.The resort is absolute beach front and the Villa at the front was amazing.HUGE with all quality fittings.Full kitchen with large fridge,washing machine,microwave and cook top with all plates and utensils so you can be fully self contained if you wish.No TV but that doesnt bother us.Choice of air conditioning or large overhead fan.We used both.Pool was perfect temperature and always clean.There are many different types of accomodation ranging from wooden bungalows to the Villas so suits all price points.Taxis are available outside if you want to travel around the island.We ate at the restaurant and the food was good.A little on the more expensive side comparing to outside restaurants but really still affordable.Only complaint husband had was that the beers werent cold enough,Maybe he was drinking them too fast from the restaurant.The villa looks over Koh Samui and its walking distance up to the fishing village and a small pier.
If you want night life then Ban Thai might not be for you but if you have a bike then you can go anywhere and the traffic is easy and not busy.Would definately recommend staying here

Super friendly staff, nice big restaurant serving good food, nice size pool, good little private beach area. We stayed in a bamboo bungalow, bed was extremely soft like a marshmallow. Could have easily stayed longer.
