Tower Circle Motel

I loved the room's ambiance and found the decor very cool. The check-in was smooth—while there was no front desk, the process through email and text was perfectly fine. However, the lack of basic amenities was noticeable. We were given only one tiny bar of soap for two people, and the shampoo came in a small, single-use plastic packet that was barely enough for one person.

Such a great stay! The renovated motel has a fresh, feel and the beds were super comfy. Check-in was simple and hassle-free, and the host was friendly and welcoming. Perfect spot by the beach—we’d happily come back!

Very, very clean so nice convenient walk to the oceanfront beach walking to restaurants was easy not far from the lighthouse. It was a great stay would definitely stay there again.

Owners were very personable, and by surprise we were entertained by a free concert on the lawn of the property.

Property had great walkability, it was quaint and quiet at night and a lot of good restaurants nearby. We loved that the beach was right around the corner. We had a wonderful time.

Me and a friend of mine came down to Buxton to fish for the weekend. Our room was the perfect choice for the weekend. Nothing fancy just what we needed!

Loved it! Steps from the beach. Peaceful.

No good thoughts. We walked in and the smell was terrible. Walked outside and sat on the bench outside long enough to find somewhere else to go. Wasted money but we could not stay there. Not well lit outside at all. I am not sure who wrote the great reviews but they were totally misleading in our opinion. This is the first time I have rented through Expedia and been disappointed. This was a very old place that someone has put a bandaid on to make money. You can put lipstick on a pig but….. After talking with a few locals, their opinion on this place aligns with mine.

Check in was great, no fuss! Was exactly as advertised. I had trouble getting hot water for a shower but my husband figured it out, so my fault. We had left a note for housekeeping for more coffee filters but didn't get any.

The room was cute and very clean. Coffee provided in the kitchenette.
The only problems we had were we couldnt get the wifi to work and the tv would only turn on and off, wouldnt respond to the remote so coupdnt use it

We used to stay here years ago, for about 8years running, until the motel changed owners. Then we looked at some other places because the price went up. We decided to book this one up recently, as the price was a little higher but the convenience and location i cant ignore.

Was very happy with the new look, you can see many updates and upgrades to the whole property. Very clean room, very happy with how spacious it was, and honestly If i come back I would look at this motel first before anywhere else.

Cute and well thought motel room. Attention to detail was apparent. Special thanks to Olivia, she always reponded very promplty to our concerns. I would rate this excellent, except there was no ice machine, and the air conditioning unit is extremely loud. Although, it is maybe to be expected for a motel room to have loud a.c.

My wife and I needed a weekend beach getaway and so we booked a 2 night stay at the Tower Circle OBX motel because reviews said the location was walking distance to the beach.

We were not disappointed! The Tower Circle OBX was a wonderful place to stay! The location is a quick 5 minute walk from the beach, parking is right on the premises and the location is also walking distance from restaurants and shops. The room was perfect for two and it appeared it had been recently renovated, so the bathroom and room furnishing were very nice.

While the physical furnishings of the room were wonderful I must give a shout- out to the great service we experienced by the owners of the motel. My wife forgot her hairdryer and the motel did not have one, but we texted the hotel owner and within 10 minutes someone was at the door delivering a hairdryer to our room! This was exceptional service and it was so greatly appreciated!!!

We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the Tower Circle - nothing fancy, but practical, friendly and great location. Will definitely plan on returning.
