Big and clean, with comfortable beds, and enough blankets!
The one thing that we did not like so much was the breakfast, we've had much better throughout our stay in CR. Also the use of disposable plates, cutlery and coffee cups isn't really up to date anymore.
The employees were very nice and sweet!

The staff was wonderful, the view was amazing. I highly recommend Secret Garden.

Fantastic location with incredible views. Cabinas are large and comfortable. The nights are cold so plan accordingly! But they do supply warm sweatshirts, jackets, and extra blankets. Breakfast was simple but good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The proximity to Irazu Volcano cannot be beat!

Yahaira and Juan were very friendly when we arrived. We felt home immediately.
Our cabana was beautifull with a very nice view of Cartago and San Jose.

O lugar em que está a propriedade é lindíssimo, o quarto é amplo e confortável, com aquecimento (leve casacos fortes para a região!) e roupas extras para suportar o frio. O café da manhã poderia ser mais típico, mas é razoável. Apenas minha amiga vegana não teve muitas opções, uma pena.

Freundliches Personal, super Ausblick und schöne Zimmer mit Panoramblick. Gutes Frühstück und besser geht es nicht. Sehr gut gelegen zum Vulkan oder Cartago

La chambre est très bien équipée, spacieuse et confortable. Le personnel est très attentionné et la vue est magnifique sur les villes de Cartago et San Jose situées plus bas. Cet établissement est idéal pour accéder aux cratères du Volcan Irazu tôt le matin. Vu notre départ avant l'heure du petit déjeuner, nous avons reçu celui-ci la veille et avons tout déposé dans le frigo pour manger avant notre départ pour le volcan.

Las cabañas están bien equipadas y están aseadas. El área es muy tranquila y la vista bellísima (si no está nublado)

C'est l'endroit parfait pour se baser avant une visite au volcan Irazu. N'hésitez pas à enfiler les sweets fournis dans les chalets pour dormir. Il y fait froid!
Mais les chambres sont jolies et la vue exceptionnelle.
Seul hic: le petit déjeuner très bas de gamme, mais offert

Property is up hill at about 8800ft elev. Great sunset view. Later clouds came in and filled the valley below. 4 front row buildings have best view. Others generally face other buildings. Not many windows to see out from room.
Room was spaceous with firm bed and several seating options. Shower is a rain head with no door, so splashes the bathroom.
Breakfast was 7:30-10. Minimal, but even had eggs on a weekday, which they say is only on weekends.

Awesome… A great welcome from the host and shown to the lodge which was wonderful. The secret garden is way up in the mountains overlooking Cartago and had it not been cloudy we would have seen a spectacular sun set, unfortunately we didn’t, but the cloud did ease off for a spectacular view of Cartago sparkling in the night far below our lodge. Some extras left in the lodge for those caught out, a couple of long hoodies and jackets for when it’s cold which was a wonderful touch. Breakfast was filling and more than enough which set us up for the day ahead. If you’re in the area and looking for somewhere to stay then this is the place, just a short drive from Irazu volcano too, which was why we stopped here, if visiting the volcano book your tickets online before arriving.

Superbe chalet perché sur les hauteurs de Potrero Cerrado avec une vue imprenable.
Chalet spacieux dont certains avec accès handicapés. Très propre , des rangements , lit king size avec literie confortable. Chauffage d'appoint. Television et excellent wifi.
Excellent accueil et tres bon petit déjeuner buffet.
