I am very disappointed with my recent stay. I booked a Premium 2-Bedroom Suite through Booking.com more than one month in advance, but upon arrival I was told to wait because my room was not available.

What upset me most was that the reception staff did not clearly explain that I was being downgraded to a Deluxe 2-Bedroom Suite. I only found out after I questioned them. The Deluxe Suite is smaller, and there is about a RM150 per night price difference, yet I had already paid the full amount for the Premium Suite.

I paid over RM3,000 for a 2-night stay. At this price point, there are many other excellent hotels in Kuala Lumpur that offer better service and actually provide guests with the room type they booked.

As compensation, the hotel offered complimentary breakfast. However, my family doesn't eat breakfast during our holidays. If I wanted breakfast, I would have booked a room package that included it. The complimentary breakfast did not make up for being downgraded to a smaller room that I never agreed to.

This is my second stay here, and unfortunately, both times I experienced late check-in after 3:00 PM. I understand that some guests may check out at 12:00 pm or even receive a late check-out until 1:00 pm, but a hotel of this standard should have sufficient housekeeping staff to prepare rooms for arriving guests on time.

The hotel oversold the room type I had booked, but as the guest, I was the one who had to bear the inconvenience. That is simply unfair.

To their credit, the manager personally came to apologize and also sent a complimentary bottle of wine to our room. I appreciate the gesture, but it does not change the fact that I did not receive the room I specifically booked and paid for.

The only thing I would highly praise is the excellent location, which is very convenient. Unfortunately, good location alone is not enough to justify this experience.

Overall, this stay was very disappointing, and I will definitely not be returning.

The hotel may consider to install baricade near lobby to prevent young children from straying to the service road. Drivers may not able to stop in time if young children ran along the lobby and stray to the road.
Should have one personnel to man the lobby for safety.

Toilet smelt like cigarettes, coffee capsule missing, weird sound coming from the speaker beside the sofa.

Traffic to commute.
