Premium price for poor service.
Pros:

Location and view

Cons:

Service poor. Elevator bizarre. No attention to maintenance of the rooms. Things broken and missing. Promise a lot and don’t deliver. No bell service arriving or leaving.No concierge. Pool chairs only available for food and beverage minimum, not free for hotel guests. Steam and sauna access requires $50 day use charge. Clueless as to what such a high room cost should include.

Pros:

The hotel staff is incredibly welcoming, responsive, and quick to help with anything we needed. They even surprised us with a voucher to use at the hotel to celebrate our honeymoon, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location is absolutely perfect for sightseeing—right in the heart of the city, surrounded by excellent dining options (cecconi, kazunori, etc.) and conveniently close to the metro. On top of that, our room was beautifully decorated and had a fantastic view. Highly recommend!

Just a heads up that peak season holidays means a slight wait for the elevators

Alle Aufzüge am Anreisetag haben keinen einzigen Gast transportieren können….. Niemand ist in seinen Stock gekommen. Wir sind 1,5 Std im Aufzug herumgefahren….. letztendlich haben wir die Koffer 5 Stockwerke getragen, um endlich in unser Zimmer zu kommen….. Hotel hat uns nicht geholfen

Lovely stay in a great location with a beautiful view
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at Virgin Hotels New York. We really enjoyed the modern design, great atmosphere and especially our room with a beautiful view. Everything was comfortable and pleasant, and we would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

The elevators were quite slow on our last day, but otherwise everything was great and we would happily stay here again.

Spiders in the room, pool can only be used by hotel guests 8 am to 1130 am, not heated, or you have to pay 150 to 200 just for the chairs, plus 50 per person food or drink purchase.

Decoração magnifica e quarto espaçoso
Pros:

Boa localização do hotel, permite ir a pé até Times Square e outros locais. A fantástica decoração do hotel. Conforto e dimensão do quarto.

Cons:

Demora em ter mesa ao pequeno almoço. E os elevadores obrigam a uma espera considerável, embora aprecie a segurança que sentimos por saber que apenas quem tem cartão do hotel pode aceder aos andares sem espaços comuns, quando estamos com pressa é complicado.

Très pour votre établissement et mauvais pour les prestations de ménage
Pros:

La réception est très professionnelle. L’accueil est excellent en général, quel que soit l’étage : le personnel est toujours disponible, souriant et très poli.

Cons:

Quelques remarques concernant mes 10 jours de séjour dans votre établissement.
Tout d’abord, il y a beaucoup de réceptions et de séminaires, ce qui rend l’accès aux espaces 38 et 39 parfois compliqué. Le 3 est très bien, mais le 4 devient difficile d’accès avec les soirées et les journées piscine. Ces événements limitent l’accès aux clients de l’hôtel et donnent parfois l’impression de privilégier les clients extérieurs à l’établissement.
Concernant le ménage, il y a malheureusement de vrais points à améliorer. Lors de notre séjour, j’ai dû faire intervenir une personne pour nettoyer sous notre lit, où tout était très sale et où il restait même des restes de nourriture. La table n’était pas toujours propre non plus. Nous avons également dû demander à plusieurs reprises que notre chambre soit faite, car elle n’avait pas été nettoyée.
Enfin, concernant les sorties de bain, elles semblent être davantage adaptées aux personnes de petite ou moyenne corpulence. Il serait appréciable de proposer différentes tailles afin que tous les clients puissent en profiter confortablement.
Malgré ces remarques, je tiens à souligner le professionnalisme de la réception et la qualité de l’accueil en général. Quel que soit l’étage, le personnel s’est toujours montré disponible, poli et agréable.

Great location, room amenities are very good and the room is spacious for New York

Cons:

Elevators are REALLY slow, we had a leak in our room that was not fixed during our entire stay and they also didn’t move us to another room/ compensated us.

While the hotel is in a great location, for the price it needs to be a lot better than it is.
Pros:

Good location and very good gym.

Cons:

The elevators were extremely slow - we often had to wait up to ten minutes for an elevator.
Room security was poor - a man (not hotel staff) entered our room with a master key while we were in the room but the hotel security officer was very slow to do anything. The breakfast buffet regularly ran out of food. The hotel pool which is one of its main attractions is only available free of charge in the morning after which it’s very expensive.

Bien mais je testerai autre chose (c’est ma 2ème fois à cet endroit)

L’emplacement qui n’était pas loin des métros et bus mais également des boutiques et des commerces comme heytea, mixue, ulta, target, flatiron building etc. J’ai pris cet hotel car je l’ai déjà fais une fois donc c’est pour ça que j’ai repris MAIS un peu déçue cette fois (je mettrai le côté nég dans le pas apprécié).

Cons:

J’étais au 25ème et il y a une grosse différence avec le 35e. Le chargeur sans fil ne fonctionnait pas et il n’y avait pas de chaise au niveau de la coiffeuse. C’est des petits détails mais qui compte pour le rapport / qualité prix mais au moins ce qui est bien c’est qu’il lise les demandes et essaye d’y répondre. J’étais au 35e lors de ma première fois à l’hôtel et j’avais précisé que je fêtais quelque chose donc ils m’ont mis dans une bonne chambre mais ce que vous devez savoir c’est que le 25e ou le 35e c’est le même tarif donc quand tu vois que t’es au 25eme et ses détails bah c’est chiant.
