Saharian Luxury Camp

Superbe expérience dans le désert c'était juste magnifique, les tentes sont très confortable mais au vu de la chaleur je pense que mettre des ventilateurs dans les chambres ne serait pas de refus.
Le service était excellent et la nourriture très bonne.

It was a great experience with very friendly staff and delicious food. Breakfast is included, but the meal costs €20. Please note that transport to the camp is not included and comes at an extra cost.

There are other camps that probably were better mantained.

What a wonderful magical place! This is the second camp we have stayed at in Merzouga and this one was a much different experience — private, quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The staff was excellent, attentive to every need. Meals were served one on one, and it was some of the best food we’ve had in all of Morocco. All arrangements were made for whatever we wanted to do (camel rides, quads on the dunes). The tent was super cute and comfortable. Hot water and WiFi are hit or miss, but those shouldn’t be the reasons one comes to the Sahara. This should be a place to unplug, learn some Moroccan/Berber culture, and reconnect. 100 percent recommend!

The service at this camp is beyond excellent and the service of staff member Hamed is exceptional. My wife and I stayed at this camp on the 27-28 January, 2025. We rode the camel to the camp (separate price $25 euros) and we stopped for about an hour on the dunes to see the sunset. Our camel guide was Ishmael who was very friendly and my view is that persons who are opposed to use of camel as transport must understand that for the camel operators, this is a source of income for persons in the area. My wife and I were the only people who stayed at his camp that night and not withstanding that the other 9 camps were empty, the camp still honored our booking. In my view that is exceptional. We got the full-service including night entertainment (drumming & dancing), we had dinner (paid for separately $20 euros per person, which was superb) and breakfast which was included, was exceptional, better than what is offered in many hotels. The rooms are very cozy with a flushable toilet. toiletries and shower with hot water, better than many hotels, there is even a USB charging port and even though it is very cold at night, the blankets are more than sufficient. We took the ride out from the camp with the vehicle at no additional cost and was somewhat of an adventure going over the dunes. The grounds of the camp has seating, the dining area is separate and has sufficient dining tables and chairs with heating. This camp is very peaceful and without hesitation, I would recommend staying.

I had an incredible stay at Saharian Luxury Camp! Adi and Ibrahim were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. We are truly grateful for the hospitality they provided. The food was the best we had in all of Morocco—delicious and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend this camp for anyone seeking an extraordinary experience in the desert!

The manager in the camp offered lot help on transportation since we didn’t drive 4X4 car to the camp! We got lost few times in the desert!

We spent one night at the Saharian Luxury Camp and we were immediately fascinated by the beauty and the confort we found in the middle of the desert. The tents are fully furnished, better than an hotel room and the staff has been incredibly caring, kind and gentle, spending the night chatting with us on the Moroccan history and berberian culture. We had there the best dinner of our entire stay in Morocco and the transfer with the camels was an extraordinary experience, thanks also to our guide, who took great care of us! You definitely cannot miss this experience!

We had the best time. It far exceeded our expectations on every level. Hamid and Ali go all out to ensure you have a memorable stay. Its well designed, comfortable and above all clean. The camp at night with the laterns is especially magical. We really enjoyed the food too, some of the best we've had on our trip.

Great experience, good supper, tents more comfortable than most hotel rooms but it gets cold in the winter so you have to snuggle up!

We had a fantastic time at Saharan Camp, from Hamid‘s pick up until we left, it was a fantastic experience.

Haddou and Ahmed are great and take good care of the guests. Food is excellent, the ladies who do the cooking tale very good care of you.

In our busy lives we took an extra day to „listen to the desert“ and can only recommend this to anyone!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. We were greeted with mint tea (of course) and enjoyed a lovely dinner in the communal dining hall. The rooms were clean, spacious and really comfortable. Beautiful sunsets right from camp.

Lovely staff willing to go above and beyond. They'll arrange all your activities for you and then you just pay for everything all at once at the end of the trip (credit card works!). One day we went on a tour of the local area and met people from different communities (liked, not loved). We went on a sunset camel ride (sounds cheesy, but we had so much fun). We also went ATVing (really cool, more intense than I thought. Just communicate about your level beforehand).

Food was good, traditional Moroccan but it changed every night to keep it interesting. Wine and beer available to purchase.

Would definitely recommend. If I had to do it again I would probably only go for two nights. Arrive in the late afternoon, then be there for a full day, then head out early in the morning. There's just so much to see in Morocco!

Great property! Expensive but worth the money. Staff really nice but due to remoteness of the location some amenities like hot water, toiletries are not available.

The food was excellent. Otman and Hamdi were awesome hosts and went above and beyond to take care of all of our needs.
The night air was chilly, but the tent was comfortable and there were extra warm blankets for the nights. We loved the location and did enjoy a camel ride into the dunes. The food was excellent. The drumming circle around the fire was fun. Great sunrises and sunsets!

La estadía en Saharian Camp fue perfecta! Las habitaciones son hermosas y cómodas, el personal es muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, la comida maravillosa, platos abundantes y sabrosos con sabores típicos del lugar, nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Desde el momento de hacer el booking la comunicación con el campamento fue muy fluida, se pusieron en contacto en el mismo momento que se concretó la reserva, respondiendo absolutamente todas las dudas e incluso ofreciendo diferentes alternativas, Hamid estuvo presente en todo momento, coordinar el punto de recogida fue muy sencillo, super recomendable!

What a fantastic camp where we spent our saharian day in saharian camp , however we ride in camels and capture amazing sunset over the dunes , The camp and tents were so beautiful and the staff was very very friendly. The tent was perfect .
very comfortable and the food was great as well. We had a lovely night at the camp fire, listening to the drums and music under a starry night .
I really recommend Saharian camp for spending the night in the desert .
