The staff were really friendly and helpful, and supportive particularly because I was unwell. The place was super clean and so comfortable. There is also air con if you need and a tv! I can't comment too much on the area because I couldn't explore much, but where I did go felt really safe and locals were really friendly.
Also in terms of the breakfast, I honestly thought it was great. The breakfast time window is big and basically also covers lunch too, and in my opinion there was great selection and quantity of food was perfect. The staff are very attentive too.

The location
I didn't like anything about this hotel. The water to fill their cistern was delivered around 6:00am, and it was super loud. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear what's going on outside.
The breakfast wasn't good for the price they charge. Coffee is of bad quality.
The Tv didn't work, and the bathrooms are old and gross.
If you are planning a vacation and want to get a good night of sleep after a long day exploring the city. This hotel is NOT the one. The beds are uncomfortable, super hard.
The cleaner that they use to mop smell super strong and unpleasant.

This property is about a 25 min (fast paced) walk to the tourist areas. It feels safe, quite, more authentic, and has a beautifully run doggy daycare right next door. The staff are what made my stay here exceptional. They will go out of their way to help you, direct, and inform you, in English. It has many local tourists, rather than from other countries. The buffet breakfast is sublime and highly recommended. The bedrooms are ample. Thank-you for making my time in Oaxaca fell amazing.

Un hotel muy pintoresco y lleno de detalles. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y muy limpias, y hay muchos espacios para poder convivir. La ubicación es muy conveniente si llevas auto o en una distancia corta al centro en un taxi. Aunque no hay estacionamiento, el auto se puede dejar en la calle justo frente al hotel. Hay varios lugares con muy buena comida y en un barrio tranquilo
Very nice centrally located hotel in upper middle class neighborhood great dining options close by and staff extremely accommodating and courteous delicious breakfast buffet as well!!!
The beds are too hard
Bonito y decorado hermosamente, pero muy ruidoso, se escucha el ruido de otros huéspedes y te piden q bajes a mover el auto si tiene q entrar o salir con quien compartes cajón.
