Pros:

Tisztaság, kedves személyzet, jó felszereltség, bőséges és finom reggeli-vacsora.

Cons:

Nagyon drága, ahhoz képest, hogy egy Balaton-parti szállodáról beszélünk. Szerintem életemben nem ittam ilyen áron kávét, konkrétan Barcelona homokos-pálmafás tengerpartján nem került ennyibe.

My son absolutely enjoyed it, and that's what truly matters at the end
Pros:

- solid breakfast, my son especially enjoyed it
- nice and clean rooms, though very loud due to the entrance doors were not suppressing any noise from the outside, and closing it was extremely loud in the evening/night time
- great facilities all over the place - especially the water world and the "monkey town" area, truly amazing
- some of the animators were amazing!
- we were allowed to check-in an hour earlier - huge thank You for that, appreciated

Cons:

- mediocre dinner(s), especially that, there was zero drinks included in the already very high price - I find it a huge miss; vegetarian food was barely available
- sometimes some of the facilities were closed, mainly due to "technical issues", not even a coupon or a free drink was given in return; we were sitting at the entrance waiting for the reopening
- in the morning we were chased away from the pool (as it was too early), then another family arrived within a minute, they were allowed to stay... please treat people equally
- some of the animators were like zombies, they felt like doing us a favor
- why on earth there is no stairs by the elevators? I cannot imagine the insane traffic when the hotel is really at high capacity
- the bin was not emptied for 3 days: yes, we didn't ask for cleaning, but at least the trash should have been emptied...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Family Stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Mövenpick with our family and truly enjoyed every moment. The hotel offers excellent facilities and is very family-friendly, making it a perfect choice for parents traveling with children.

One of the highlights of our stay was the heated swimming pools, which were clean, well-maintained, and enjoyable regardless of the weather. The water park was fantastic and provided hours of fun for both children and adults. Our child also loved the indoor play area and soft play zone, which were great for keeping little ones entertained.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, the hotel was well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We especially appreciated how many activities were available for families, allowing everyone to have a great time without even leaving the resort.

Thank you for a wonderful family vacation. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to other families looking for a fun and relaxing stay! 😊🏊‍♂️🎢👨‍👩‍👧‍👦⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For kids- in general-great,but needs a lot of impovments in service

Overall, the picture looks wonderful, but when it comes to the details, there are many shortcomings.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and for children it is truly a paradise. However, despite having a half-board package, the first surprise came at our very first dinner. We arrived about an hour before the restaurant closed, and there was almost no food left. Even worse, drinks were not included and had to be purchased separately. There was not even a basic water station available.

For a five-star hotel, charging guests even for water during dinner is, in our opinion, a major disappointment and a serious flaw.

We were also very disappointed that both at breakfast and dinner, despite the official serving hours, many dishes were already empty 30–60 minutes before closing and were not being replenished. We had to ask staff for basic things such as a spoon, and even had to request a banana for our child because they had already been removed.

The watermelon looked old and poorly presented, and overall the food appeared to be of rather low quality. The service throughout the hotel was very weak, especially considering the hotel's category and prices.

In addition, almost everything in the hotel is very expensive.

The resort has great potential and beautiful facilities, but unfortunately the level of service and attention to guests falls far below what we would expect from a five-star property.

In addition, almost everything in the hotel is very expensive.Another very serious issue that should be addressed is the extremely slippery floors in both the bathroom and the shower area. This was not only our experience – we heard the same complaint from many other guests throughout the hotel.
We are not sure of the reason; perhaps it is related to the water or the floor surface itself. However, the situation is genuinely dangerous. Our 5.5-year-old child nearly suffered a serious injury while simply standing in the bathtub. Even while holding onto an adult, any small movement could cause a fall.
