Good location to stay if you intent to explore the city center but only for a short while.
Pros:

- The location is right in the middle of the city center, providing great access to both CDO Uptown and Downtown.
- Breakfast is delicious, and the serving size was adequate.
- The elevator is fast and very reliable.

Cons:

- The front desk staff Razel was not very helpful and gave wrong information about my booking. She seemed aloof and unable to answer any of my basic reservation questions.
- I also requested an extra bed in our room, and Razel initially said "okay". Thirty minutes later, I followed up, she retracted her statement, and said that they cannot provide any extra beds in the room. It's as if I were waiting for nothing.
- The booking of two twin beds per room was not followed, even though it was explicitly requested before checking in, and no offers of amends were given.
- Toilet water was black in color during every flush, as the water closet seemed to be stained.
- The bathroom floor was always wet because of a leaky toilet.
- We stayed for three nights, but housekeeping never serviced our rooms.
- Dining room seating for breakfast was very limited, and staff do not bus out the tables promptly, so used dishes are left to sit.

Benrose Hotel is centrally located with clean and spacious rooms and friendly staff. Easily accessible and walking distance to the mall and other famous landmarks and points of interest. Highly recommended for all your travel needs.

Pros:

The room was small but clean and tidy and comfortable with a well-equipped bathroom. The only issues were there was no way to request a double bed when booking, so of course, got a room with two singles. Also, the shower water drained away from the drain, which is something I observed in every hotel I stayed at in Philippines.
