Small but does the job very clean and comfortable
This was a cheap option close to the airport and that was what I needed. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was good too.
I had a dripping shower. I was woken by other guests leaving early.
Quite suburb hotel, 10min bus ride to Birmingham international airport. Great for early morning departures.
Lovely garden to relax in, staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
Nothing
The staff were very receptive and readily offered support throughout
There was moulds on the bread served for breakfast. They seem to have kept it for a longer time and they didn’t check and served to me. And it seems too far from the Town Center of Birmingham and so ordering things like food was relatively very expensive
The staff was very friendly and helpful
The room was not in the ground floor, which we requested anc was very small and hot!
All good
N/A
The Hotel was clean in all areas and location not too bad to NEC, staff did smile, but unfortunately this is all the good i can say about this place.
While clean, whole hotel needs a refurb very dated feel. Staff while friendly, but their organisation needs to much improved, way to many bits of paper needed for when you have modern day computers, so dup paper was filled in. No cutlery offered for our main meal! Missing light bulb in room, toilet required multiple flushes to remove even just paper in it!
The property was clean and staff were pleasant
I was served the wrong meal and my drink had been forgotten. The shower didn’t work so had to have a strip wash as was very hot in room and no air conditioning.
Old style house converted into a hotel, only £8 in a taxi away from hotel. Check in desk closes at 11pm. But you can buy beer for £10 a bottle until 11.30.
Left too early to try the breakfast
Floor boards run out to corridor so anyone else arriving late or leaving early can be heard in room. No bedside light, so main room door side switch only
Shower was cold and didn't work
No ventilation in room on warm day
Room was smaller than I'd expect for the price
Shower wasn't large enough to stand in without touching all 4 walls
Staff/management were super polite and friendly, great service from them. Room was very clean and well presented with everything I needed.
Was a little noisy due to no soundproofing, so when next door unlocked their door it was rather loud. Also the water heater/pump (couldn’t tell what) was rather loud when other rooms were having a shower.
I liked that it was a nice and cheap hotel for me to book when alot of others were sold out around this time
The room looked nothing like the pictures thats shown for the room type I bought, the soundproofing was terrible so I heard every door slam constantly, the fitted sheet wasn't fitted and looked and felt like a table cloth, there was no plug near the desk so I couldn't use the kettle safely, the window looked out onto a fence instead of literally anything else, the shower pressure was non existant and if I wanted to use the toilet in the night I had to leave the light to warm up for 10 minutes before I could use it because it was so dim, the room was much smaller than it looked and the curtains were flimsy and just overall not worth what I paid considering the ibis styles hotel was £5 more per night and looks so much nicer
Friendly staff and cleanish are the only positives I have. Entire place is very tired and smells a bit funky. Creaky floorboards. Doors that slam. No sound-proofing. No lift. No air-con. Very unhealthy and limited menu in “restaurant”. No options for food allergies. Hot food not hot. Drinks expensive -£8 a beer from a can. Very hard beds and pillows. Only 1 tv Chanel available. No other shops or restaurants around for quite a distance. Hopefully my boss didn’t pay too much for this place.
I'm afraid the breakfast was very overpriced for what it was. Croissants were stuffed in a jar and I only had 3 pieces of toast.
I struggled to get a good night's sleep as the pipes or radiators (not sure what was making the noise) rattled on and off throughout the night! Please could something be done about that as I'm sure I'm not the only one to have heard them.
