Hacienda el Tarajal

Sylvie hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die App mit allen Informationen zu Restaurants und Ausflügen ist äusserst praktisch und hilfreich.
Wir haben einen Ausflug nach Zuheros unternommen – es war einfach grossartig. Die Fahrten hin und zurück durch die atemberaubende Landschaft sind wirklich beeindruckend.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war ein echtes Highlight: sehr frisch, qualitativ hochwertig zubereitet und sogar mit frisch gebackenem Kuchen – einfach ein Traum.
Alles ist sehr sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet. Die ruhige Umgebung am Pool lädt perfekt zum Entspannen ein.

This is a 5* property- paradise in Preigo De Cordoba. Expertly run with very welcoming hosts and their dog Maurice, who we were lucky to see as leaving.
Beautifully decorated, delicious breakfast and a nice array of beers, wine, drinks available to purchase.

Echt een heerlijke plek om helemaal tot rust te komen. Xavier en Sylvie hebben aan alles gedacht en alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Werkelijk een fantastisch ontbijt, mooi terras en een tuin en zwembad zoals je dat normaal alleen op foto’s ziet. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug!

Gastvrije en behulpzame eigenaren

De locatie is werkelijk geweldig; de sfeer van de accommodatie en de kamers, het ontbijt, de voorzieningen, vriendelijke en zeer behulpzame eigenaren ...alles is bijzonder goed te noemen, dit tref je maar zelden!

It’s a rare joy to find a place that surpasses its own promise — lovelier in reality than in its already stunning photos. After a short drive of just over an hour from Granada, we arrived at this small paradise, and from the first moment, it felt like time slowed down.

Perched on a hill wrapped in olive groves and crowned with palms, pomegranate trees, and fragrant blooms, the hacienda radiates harmony. Every corner, both inside and out, is curated with care — from the elegant decor to the soft scents of artisanal soaps that linger in the air.

Hosts Sylvie and Xavier were the heart of this experience. They went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable — from the beautifully served breakfasts of fresh local ingredients enjoyed on the terrace at sunrise, to the Friday evening dinner, a feast of Andalusian flavors paired with exquisite wines. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel entirely at home.

Our room was lovely — spotless, serene, and full of light. Wandering down through lush greenery, we discovered the pool: a tranquil haven that could rival the most beautiful Balinese resorts. We spent our days resting on the sunbeds, taking refreshing swims, and sipping cool drinks from the honesty bar, surrounded by nothing but birdsong and the whisper of the breeze.

While lunch isn’t served on-site and dinner is available only on select evenings, the nearby town of Priego (a 15-minute drive) offers good options for groceried or dining out. The roads, though narrow and winding, reward every turn with breathtaking views — though they may be a bit challenging after dark for the less experienced driver.

We’re deeply grateful to have found this hidden gem. It’s a place we’ll dream of returning to — a sanctuary of peace, beauty, and genuine hospitality.

Het is onmogelijk om iets negatiefs te vinden bij dit verblijf: de locatie was perfect, fenomenaal uitzicht, prachtige studio voorzien van alle comfort (en zelfs meer: verzorgingsproducten, een persoonlijk kaartje...). We genoten van het overheerlijke ontbijt, het fantastische zwembad maar bovenal van de gastvrijheid van Sylvie,Xavier en de kinderen. Kortom een paradijsje tussen de heuvels met olijfbomen waar we helemaal tot rust kwamen.

Everything ... felt right at home. A lovely hacienda in a wonderful rural location amongst olive groves. Sylvie and her husband Xavier are warm and charming hosts that provide special touches to their place that make it unique and welcoming. Breakfast provided was fresh and delicious and my husband and I enjoyed the dinner offering. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful Hacienda in the middle of the Olive groves. Never-ending views from everywhere. One of my favourite swimming pools ever! Just paradise! Very friendly owners who prepared a delicious breakfast every morning. Beautiful area surrounding the Hacienda. Everything, it is a spectacular hacienda located on an amazing property offering the comfort of modern amenities. Sylvie and her husband are charming hosts that provided a delicious breakfast and special touches to their place that make it very unique and welcoming.

Location, style, breakfast, pool area.

The Hacienda is a jewel located in a beautiful area, surrounded by heals of olive trees. Our unit we had a charming courtyard overlooking the hillside.
Our hosts gave us good suggestions for touring the area.
We also had a delicious dinner at the place. We highly recommend for those who need a break for few days from the busy towns.

Amazing dinner and breakfast

We had the most incredible week staying at Hacienda el Tarajal. From the stunning views of the hills and mountains and olive groves, the beautifully decorated house and rooms, terrace and pool area to all the little details - we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay! We wanted a quiet, relaxed holiday away from the city, with day trips and evenings out, and it was the perfect place for this.

Natasja and Dirk are such wonderful hosts, giving loads of tips of things to do and good restaurants in the local area. They also offer a delicious dinner menu a couple of times a week which you shouldn’t miss! They have created the most beautiful space and it’s now one of my favourite places to stay in Spain. I would recommend it to anyone and hope to go back one day!
