⭐ Very Disappointing Experience – Do Not Recommend
I had an extremely frustrating experience at Super 8 by Wyndham Pigeon Forge Downtown, located at 3280 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN.
I booked a room for 2 guests from December 23 to December 29, 2025, planning to spend Christmas in the Pigeon Forge mountain area. Due to work-related travel changes, I was unable to arrive until December 24. To avoid any issues, I called the hotel on December 20 to inform them of the change and make arrangements for a late arrival.
I traveled by car from Tampa, FL, and when I arrived at the hotel on December 24 (before 3:00 PM check-in time), I was shocked to be told that no room was available. The hotel had already marked me as a no-show, charged me for one night, and gave my room to someone else.
I showed the receptionist my iPhone call log proving that I had contacted the hotel on December 20. She acknowledged that I was telling the truth but made no effort to resolve the situation. Instead, I was told that it was a busy holiday and that all hotels in the area were booked.
In other words, they kept my money and sold the same room twice—once to me and again to another guest. This left me without a room during Christmas in a fully booked area, despite having done everything right on my end.
This was poor customer service, poor communication, and unacceptable business practice. I will never book with Super 8 again and do not recommend this location, especially during peak holiday seasons.

Supper 8 should at the very minimum reimburse me, since my room was sold to someone else. It would be more Ethical.
room , service, location
elevator wasn't working
Clean, comfortable, excellent location and great price! Will def stay there again
Our family was in the area for just one day and stayed at the Super 8 as recommended by family who previously stayed there. The hotel was close to many attractions we were interested in and our room was clean and comfortable.
Can't say anything we didn't like
Breakfast small but great fine not a problem
Need samples of bodywash smelled so good
Convenient
Elevator out of order. My room was on fourth floor. I told them I had a bad knee and wasn’t sure how it would fair. I ask about moving rooms the next day. I cut my trip short by 2 days because of this issue.
Rate wasn't too bad
Breakfast was terrible, not much to choose from no eggs, toast, bacon, sausage or any of that. I had some oj and bounced. I would stay there again but no breakfast was disappointing
The proximity to restaurants and activities was excellent and the pricing was on point as well
The elevator didn’t work and some sort of construction was going on. All the grab and go breakfast is terrible!!!
Clean rooms, co!y soft bed and pillows.
Advertised breakfast only had grab and go items like juices, fruit, couple of pastries.
Location
There was hair on the sheets. The room was right by the elevator being worked on being at 6am. That room should never have been rented out.
Never checked out/ didn't cancel. I was told rebooted for today. Come back at 3:00pm check in. I've had reservations I paid for and still haven't received.
