Great location, walking distance to the heart of Palm Springs. Appreciate historic mid-century vibe. Helpful staff.
I didn't think it was good value for what we paid. Our room was nice but also a bit shabby. Needs some TLC. I appreciate the old when it's well maintained. Again, overall it did not meet my expectations for the price point.

Ben was extremely accomodating, letting us check out late, use the bikes as well and really made things so easy going, friendly and is the reason I gave top marks. This hotel is truly vintage- so it was a step back in time and and the hospitality old fashion goodness. Ann greeted us on our first day, mixing the Orbitini and serving use fresh popped corn by the pool. We felt welcomed and cared for plus the size of the hotel is small so its easy to strike up a conversation with the other guest and get great tips of where to go/dine/explore.
They office closes at 6 and doesn't open until 9 each day so if you want to use a printer, or borrow the bikes, it's hard to arrange after hours. I understand this is part of why the hotel is more reasonably priced than it's neighbors. Also if there was some fresh fruit to have in addition to the "help yourself" morning offering of coffee and yogurt that would be great.

Lovely hotel, location is awesome, very close to the Main Street of Palm Springs -7 min walk.
The room is nicely decorated but n the style of 50-s of last century, which is awesome. Hotel staff is vey friendly and helpful.

The location was fantastic, a great view of the Palm Springs hills (magical in the morning light) and walking distance to town. We stayed here as it looked authentic mid century and it was - loved it.
They had a bar area by the pool for making hot drinks - not in your room, it was ok but we liked to be a bit more self-contained. Bed was only queen size.

Loved how it takes you back in time. A really lovely quirky hotel. Beds really comfortable! Friendly cocktail hour by the pool!
The bathrooms felt very used, and needed a bit of love. Bedroom also felt a little cold, and artwork looked a bit cheap.
Really lovely place to stay. Comfy bed and the breakfast suited us fine. Good tasty yoghurt with plentiful coffee and drinks available. Loved the vintage vibe, it is very authentic. Location great for downtown and very safe.
Maybe the lack of sockets in the room for charging etc but it is an authentic vintage property so took this into account.

We booked the Rat Pack room, and it was perfect, right down to the mid-century furnishings (Heywood Wakefield end tables, George Nelson bench, Bertoia chairs). The bathrooms are snug, but very 50s, just like my parents' 1956 house (all pink!). Record player and vintage records are provided. The kitchenette was convenient, but could have used a microwave. (There is one in the pool/bar area. ) The pool is nice, and complimentary cocktails and popcorn are served every late afternoon. My husband enjoyed the Orbitinis! The staff is super-friendly, and created a warm, engaging atmosphere for those who are interested. Only one complaint: The TV does not have traditional network & cable stations, but found a lot of vintage SNL and David Letterman shorts : )
