Very beautiful hotel and comfortable stay !
Pros:

It was comfortable , really well Kept and clean , rooms spacious and very welcoming. My best stay in Japan throughout my whole trip. Onsen and all the extra little touches to make you feel at home was a big plus.

I would recommend this hotel due to its convenience and its rooftop spa.
Pros:

Convenient location. Can walk to hotel from train station and can also easily walk from the hotel to the Castle. I enjoyed the rooftop onsen.

Cons:

Selfishly, I would have enjoyed a couple of more western breakfast items. The pillows in the room were quite hard.

We had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the hot spring bath and delicious breakfast.
Pros:

A comfortable, well equipped room and delicious breakfast. The staff were friendly. Lovely to have access to the onsen. Easy walking distance the castle and very close to the train station.

Cons:

Everything was great.

Pros:

The photos don’t fully capture how beautiful the hotel and rooms are in person. Everything feels even more considered and atmospheric than it appears online.
The onsen was the best I experienced in Japan, especially the women’s outdoor bath with its open view — calm, spacious, and beautifully designed.
Each evening (from 21:30), complimentary ramen is served for guests — a thoughtful touch.
The location is very convenient: about a 6–7 minute walk from the train station, 10–15 minutes to Matsumoto Castle, and close to cafés, restaurants, and shops.
